Oh my, come hungry! What a wonderful menu. The food is delightful and plentiful. Sandwiches, pasta, soup and salads. They serve fresh carrot juice with variations. Also, top drawer choices of soda. Their desserts are made in house and scrumptious. They also have bean coffee for sale and roast it there from what I can tell by machinery in the room. Yum describes the gem of a cafe.

We were really excited to try this place out and support a local business during this really difficult time. But the couple running the restaurant, while cooking and serving food, were not wearing masks. And there was no encouraging or set up for socially distancing inside. I don’t care how good your food tastes (can’t say cause I haven’t tried it), but if you don’t care about keeping your customers safe that’s really a shame. And possibly illegal at this point but I’m not sure about that one?

I absolutely love the fresh pressed juices and smoothies! They are made of high quality fruits and veggies with no added sugar or junk! The sandwich's and soups are also 👌 Perfect place to stop by for a quick lunch, especially if you have any sort of dietary restrictions, gluten free, vegan, dairy free, etc just ask and they will work with you. I just ask for any sandwich or wrap on a bed of lettuce or in a lettuce wrap and they still taste phenomenal! One of my favorite lunch places in town!

Each day they have two fresh soups to chose from. I almost always order the piper club-they make crispy bacon which is the best. The desserts though are amazing and I pop over there sometimes to just grab a dessert to go. Locally owned family restaurant. Deluxe.

This lunch cafe has some of the best soup and sandwiches in town. Every day there are two homemade soup choices and a lunch special. On the regular menu, the Piper Club and the Damn Good Sandwich are favorites among my friends. They're made on bread made in-house. My go-to is the half bruschetta salad, which comes with two slices of the sweet basil bread topped with Gorgonzola and sun-dried tomatoes. That and a cup of soup, and I'm good to go.

Once again, choring in Anchorage find myself on Northern Lights Blvd, and a bunch of places to eat. Nothing like the food at Sweet Basil Cafe. Home made food, locals pricing, and they normally have a great Daily Special. Did I mention they cater, and have great desserts and breads? Beer and wine too!

Quick and polite service. Cloudy glassware. There was grey chicken in the Greek Chicken wrap. The bacon on the sandwich was chewy. Menu riddled with typos and doesn't state what comes with your meal. Weird pasta salad type side was soggy/soupy.

HUGE and amazing sandwiches! The Damn Good on whole wheat is my favorite. I highly recommend checking them out for lunch if you can!
