Still one of the best values for Filipino food if you're coming from the beach areas of The OC. I discovered this place a long time ago while looking for a closer alternative to the famous Magic Wok (now Crispy House) crispy pata. At the time Sawali Grill's version was the closest.

This facility is a buffet. Good selections of Filipino food. 1 entree with white rice is about $8, 2 entrees with white rice is about $10. We ordered 1 2-entree, 2 1-entree, 1 side order
Their Crispy Pata is delicious. Call your order 15 minutes prior showing up since it’s cook/made to order. I was in the area and came across this place. I ordered the smoked fish and a meat dish with rice. The dish was tasty and flavorful. You can't beat the price either. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

They always have a good selection of foods out. Everything is out on hot trays, and they are always moving the food that sits too long so you can be guaranteed it is always fresh.

I've had pork sisig in some of the best restaraunts in the Philippines from Boraci to Cebu to Sagada. I've also had it in some of the best restaurants in the bay area. Above all, Sawali Grill serves the absolute best sisig I have ever had anywhere. Perfection!
