Food was really good. This was our second trip here.
🇪🇬 EGYPT (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - The menu is many pages long and meanders in and out of just about everything that can be enjoyed in Egypt and throughout the Levant and Arabian Peninsula. Families come here together to enjoy big platters of mandi and/or kabsa with chicken or lamb, shawerma and kababs, and a host of mezze and fried appetizers, but the kitchen really excels with specifically Egyptian dishes that are not available in nearby restaurants with Lebanese, Palestinian, or Syrian owners.
I would say I travel almost an hour to go there. The vibes are so friendly and welcoming, the staff are so sweet, polite and helpful, they have a large outstanding variety of hookahs. The menu is pretty huge with plenty of items to choose from, whatever you like eating, they have items that will suffice. I usually get the mixed grill, the lamb is more than perfect, the kofta is very juicy and the beef is delicious. They got turkish coffee, konafas are so tasty and the prices are extremely reasonable for the value. Very much recommended.
Our family didn't care about the hookah. We were concerned about the smell. However, there were some tables in the restaurant separate from the hookah tables. The place was almost full & busy even with almost TEN employees. Our excellent server was Priscilla (she speaks four languages). The food was great (refer to six pictures). I forgot to take more pictures as we dived in the food quickly. The quantity & quality combined with the price was consistent with other competitors.
Comparing the Egyptian dishes we ordered & El Mahroosa facility to Cairo restaurant we have clear vision & future goal which food establishment we plan to continue to revisit. The differences are obvious.
Last but not least, we met one of the best bakers who provided the baked items.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
A lot of people will say “nothing beats home,” and that true, but you can’t compare a restaurant in Anaheim to your Aunt’s table in Cairo. This place has a decent ambiance, a friendly service, and food that’s good. It didn’t send my tastebuds back to Egypt, but it felt good to have some Egyptian food after not being in Egypt for a few months. We ordered Koshari (a must) and Pigeon with Molokhiya (which is great because you don’t typically find pigeon in your average grocery store). The prices are not bad, however, they are noticeably a little higher than their nearby competitor with almost an identical menu, Cairo Cafe.
Mansaf is out of this world. They prepare it fresh every Friday. What sets them apart is that they make it with shoulder of lamb, unlike most places that only offer lamb shank. They even stay open until 3 AM on weekends. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I adore it when they use the term "Habibi."
In my opinion, this place deserves the top spot for the most delicious food in both Orange and LA counties.

Been coming to this restaurant for a couple years now the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly.
It's nice that they have a mostly enclosed patio where you can smoke hookah and hang out. The cultural atmosphere is very enjoyable and welcoming to someone like me who is not Middle Eastern.
Now my wife and I share an appetizer and a combo plate, which is more than enough food for two people. Unless we have a busy day planned the next day and which case we order enough to have leftovers.
The hookahs are really fun to try out but I wouldn't try the doubleApple flavor unless you're a fan of black licorice. Personally I like the tropical flavors Moore.
Great food taste great! Service is fast and restaurant vibes are the original Mediterranean vibes! Every time I visitLA I make sure to come and visit this place!
The hookah are good and verity of food selection
The culture shock is mesmerizing in all the right ways. The lamb was tender enough for even a spoon to part with. The food sold me. Everything else simply added to the atmosphere.
Would recommend again and again and again.

Authentic Egyptian food. Best Egyotian place I have visited outside of Cairo. They hookah area can be smokey, but they have a front room that is not. The kosher, falafel, and fool are some of my favorites. Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. The shwarma and salads are flavorful and fresh. This place is totally worth a visit!

With every visit to LA, I should come to eat and hook up with their great hookah. Just love the arabic traditional food that reminds me of home. Thanks for the best food ever.
