Sawleaf Vietnamese Cafe

This place is great. Out of all the places in the packing house or in the area its a real treat. The food is very simple but wholesome. Very authentic with a modern touch. The Tofu bahmi with Hoisin Chili sauce is one my favriotes....and Im not even vegetarian. You cant beat the Deluxe Filet Mignon when it comes to Phu either. The price is not bad and the quality is great from my experience coming here the past 3 months or so. After your done get some Crepes across the hallway for desert. The best meal if you want something to hit the spot IMO. Always great food and great people at the Sawleaf

OK, WOW. Let me start by saying, I had mixed feeling about paying $8.50 for a Bahn Mi sandwich. After all, the OC is known for cheap Bahn Mi's, right? Well, I ordered the Premium Flank Steak Bahn Mi and it was DELICIOUS! I've paid for overpriced Bahn Mi before, but it was no where near the quality of this one! The flavor of the steak was very complex, and I know it's not in it's name, but the lemongrass flavor really came through and it was a great refreshing combination with the pickled radish, jalapenos, cilantro, and everything else. Oh! Can't forget to mention that the bread wasn't tough as brick - literally, the perfect bahn mi! It's located in the Anaheim packing district, on the first floor. They've got a cute and small set up. They provide a water dispenser, which is all I needed to help me down that sandwich. Service is quick and great - I'd definitely recommend this place!
