We had the pleasure of dining at Dad’s Diner again and this place just blows our mind with the flavors of the food served! My husband Dave & I along with our 2 favorite friends visited Anacortes from Langley Canada this morning and was so happy to see our favorite server Gabriel. Gabriel again gave us the best service and gave a beautiful description of the specials which included the Porkbelly Jarlsburger with maple bacon marmalade which sold my husband! It was exactly as described by Gabriel! The only sad part was Dave didn’t want the burger to end! ;)
Thank you to Dad’s and especially Gabriel and Vanessa for making us keep coming back for more! See you all in October!

My husband & I along with our good friends had dinner at Dad’s Friday night. We’re from Langley Canada and come out every year and Dad’s is always a big highlight for us for the great food and service! Our server, Gabriel is knowledgeable about every menu item including the hot sauces and is enthusiastic and friendly in his efforts to provide a quality dining experience. Dad’s is lucky to have Gabriel as he goes beyond the call of duty and is a hard worker hustling around to get things done! The party melt is made of high quality ingredients and so very delicious. We came back for breakfast Sunday morning and Vanessa provided us with excellent service as well! The bacon with the fennel edges is unbelievable! Anytime we are back in Anacortes, Dad’s is our number one spot for great food & service.
Being Born and raised in the south I was missing family family BBQ’s and the competition style that you never know what you are going to get eating I’m used to. Well, while my husbands pork wasn’t what he’s used to he said it was delish. But my Pastrami was Dead on delicious. He was completely disappointed to find I had eaten my leftovers for a late lunch. My scrambled eggs w/cheese were more omelet like but soft and wonderful. But Next time I’ll ask for a more well done biscuit the texture was incredible, and taste on point. My husband ate most of it. This is really making me miss having my own grill, but until I have time. Will take the time to drive on Over to Dad’s. Thank you for an incredible Brunch Date with my husband.
We hiked Mt Erie in Anacortes all morning and we really hungry by 1pm.. Looking for a place to eat we spotted Dad's Dinner. The place was packed from lunch hour but manged to find 3 spots at the bar. The staff was really nice and very informative about our choices of the tasty menu.. Excellent service and delicious food
The best of the best! You can't go wrong when you go to Dads!!!!!
The brisket hash is to die for!!!
We had dinner at Dad's last night and the service was the best we've had. Our waiter was so helpful and super friendly. And of course our food was the BOMB! Good service is hard to come by and we have never had a bad experience at Dad's but, last night was the best yet. Thanks again for an amazing meal and evening!

Exceptional service & amazing food. I had a caesar salad topped with smoked brisket & was blown away!
Had a great start to our #SmallBusinessSaturday with the amazing pulled pork hash and gluten-free Brioche toast at Dad’s this morning! Always a delight to stop in for a bite to eat.
We stopped in at Dad’s by chance yesterday. The google description sounded good. If you’re anywhere within driving distance you owe it to yourself to stop in. Both our sandwiches were delicious! Also the bacon is worth committing serious felonies for... Thanks Fletcher for a great lunch!
Excellent burgers and fries. Would love to go back and try some of the breakfast offerings! Service was quick and friendly. All of the staff were on point to keep our drinks filled and needs met! A great family diner!

Delicious !!!! had the dads plate biscuit, egg, potatoes, and the yummiest sausage patty ever.
Lived here three years now trying out different places... this is the best! Found out about it by talking to the meat smoker up the street in the empty lot.
Ate the pork bellie special.
Texas came with me and had a brisket sandwich.
We both agree that the service was outstanding, but the food, was made from awesome.
I'm always a little skeptical of new restaurants because I'm a picky eater and a super taster (meaning that I have more taste buds than most people), but my aunt recommended Dad's Diner for breakfast this morning and I loved it. My pancake was fluffy, my bacon was chewy but definitely well done, and my potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly and fast, and the food was fairly priced.
You really need to try this place. They’re passionate about the food the serve and it shows. Definitely going back. Service was excellent even though they were busy.
Dads Diner is the best breakfast place in town. Very good food, atmosphere, and service was great. Plenty of street parking. I recommend to get there early so you don’t have to wait long. The grits were very good. Loved the pull pork with my eggs and potatoes. Such a great combo. The place itself has pictures of dads on the wall. What a neat concept. Service was great. Would come back in a heartbeat to eat here again. Enjoy!
It was incredible! I bought the homemade salsa to go since I'm not a local, I live in Seattle, and I wanted to enjoy it at home. The people were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed and checked my coffee level as well periodically. The food tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back here when I come back for my camping trips at Deception Pass.
There is no better way to start your day then at Dad’s. Terrific service, wonderful food, lovely space, and if you are lucky you will have to wait so that your anticipation level increases by the minute! We waited 40 minutes to dine and it was worth every minute! Kudos to the entire staff, they run the place like clockwork and no one is forgotten! We WILL return!
Amazing "main street" style diner with top notch food and excellent service. They smoke their own meats, and everything we tried was outstanding.
Wow , Wow , Wow . What a diamond in the rough! This is Heaven for Foodies . Nostalgic , Food Paradise. Is a couple of words I can use for this wonderful place . As soon as you walk through the door. You are greeted with a big welcome. This is a must stop for all foodies ! If you call yourself a connoisseur of food . Then this is your stop 🛑. Bon appétit.
Redneck Benedict was a never before experience. I have traveled all over USA. Tasted many eggs Benedicts. Great biscuit. Ample amount of ham. Amazing gravy. Perfect potatoes. Worth the price
Absolutely fantastic! A must go to! Our food was tremendous- packed with fun flavors and our service was wonderful! So glad we dropped by!
My husband had the Jimmy Rice which he absolutely LOVED!!! I had the breakfast tacos which were fabulous!

Absolutely! My kind of place. So incredibly quirky cool and unique with surprisingly good food that you would typically not find somewhere else- the staples with a twist- and ambiance and decoration of globes with a really cool story behind it- ask Fletcher. The owner. Cannot recommend this place. Enough- was totally surprised and I am definitely taking friends back there again
Diner was suggested to try while I was in town. I was not disappointed. Food was fresh, fast, and flavorful. The staff were attentive and made sure that the customers were informed and taken care of. The diner was busy, but the staff were calm and thorough. Indoor and outdoor seating was available.
This is a one of a kind diner place. I had the Redneck Benedict. Love it! I chose brisket for my meat and the brisket just falls off when I put my fork into it. The potatoes are so crispy which is amazing. So tasty. The atmosphere is nice and our waitress was so sweet. It is a lot of food and very filling so make sure you are starving when you visit.
If you're looking for a delicious breakfast spot in Anacortes, look no further than Dad's Diner. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. It’s a small place filled with history on their walls, photos, memorabilia, etc
We started our meal off with the most delicious blueberry scone, which was the perfect complement to our coffee.
I ordered Jimmy's Rice, which was an absolutely fantastic dish. The combination of chorizo, pork belly, and over-easy eggs on perfectly made rice was a match made in heaven. The flavors were bold and delicious, and the presentation was beautiful.
My husband ordered the Redneck Benedict, which was their version of eggs Benedict. This dish was equally delicious, with perfectly poached eggs and a flavorful sausage gravy . We were both blown away by the quality of the food.
The only downside to Dad's Diner is that it can get quite busy, but we were lucky enough to arrive early that we didn't have to wait for a table. It's no wonder that this place is always bustling, as the food is truly exceptional.
If you're in Anacortes, Dad's Diner is a must-visit spot. With its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect place to start your day.
I was expecting good diner food, but was blown away by the creativity of the dishes. Certainly, there are a lot of diner classics, but most are elevated to new heights with interesting ingredients and perfect execution.
The staff were wonderful and attentive as well, and even kept their patience and composure with a very rude patron ahead of us.
Absolutely will come back again, it's definitely worth the trip!
Absolutely the BEST biscuits and gravy, I have ever had. The service was really good too. Our server was very attentive and friendly. BTW, this was the morning of the Oyster Run, so they were quite busy, and we still received good service.
Stopped in Anacortes for work 10/27/2023 and found this hidden gem. I got the pork belly hash with my eggs over easy and it was hands down the best breakfast meal I’ve ever had. The flavor was out of this world. I don’t normally give out reviews but credit is due where credit is deserved. Thanks to my server and the cooks for a great experience and food.
One of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been too. My breakfast biscuit was ridiculously good, pancake is unique and scrumptious, it all hit. The people that work there are insanely cool/kind too. And overall excellent and awesome vibe.
I stopped in here for some breakfast and let me tell you, it’s worth the wait (if there is one).
Fletcher is a great guy and I appreciated the conversation!
The girls up front are definitely on it! i was seated and served quickly.
The food was also amazing, the portions are pretty big FYI.
Thanks again!
Super good food with friendly people. Just watch out for add-on’s and ask if it comes with entree price point because just because they give you “English muffin” as the bread option, it’s extra $ (but they don’t tell you) instead of getting the biscuit or toast. It would’ve been appreciated to be told “these bread options come with selection but if you’d like an English muffin with jam that will be an additional $” and the same with any meat options that don’t come with the entree but what they give you options for ) and DON’T get “A la carte”. Two pancakes were $17 and 3 sausages were $24. What I expected would’ve been $60 ended up being over $100(with tip). The food was all delicious, I just would’ve liked to know if it was SO much more getting things separate than just ordering another adult-sized entree to split for my kiddos (2 and 4 year olds) One of 16-19 dollars would’ve filled them both up with left-overs. Or even getting them both separate kids menu items. Since getting things “A la carte” was actually mentioned by the staff, I thought this might be more cost effective to get exactly what would be eaten. I just don’t want people to feel that I’m attacking the staff or food quality. This is just for the family that may not have a lot of extra money and just want to know that they’re making a stupid choice by ordering separately when they’re going to pay double for it.
I'm visiting Anacortes for arts festival and came across Dad's diner in the downtown area which is very lovely by the way. This diner was definitely a hit with homemade breakfast plates and specialty tacos and pork and beef barbecue sandwiches and much more. I had the brisket sandwich because the Smokey goodness filled the cafe and I could not resist. It was a great choice and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend you to visit dad's diner! Great service. Great atmosphere and awesome menu!
Sat outside nice tables outdoors this nice restaurant, during Anacortes Arts Festival, Friday opening night of Jazz Stage .
Resturant was very busy inside!
Coffee only, take out.
