Food is good. No complaints there. However, even with like half capacity due to covid, they were kind of slow. Employees were nice, but service was slow considering it was not busy.
Update: Owner responded. Just wanted to say food was good, employees were super nice. Just took a while for our order to come out. Bread etc. Then took a long time for check to get ran and returned. We didn't mind though. No complaints. Just seemed strange considering how it was not super busy. I would return again. 😀

This place is great! Went for the first time tonight with a group of 6. They are currently not taking reservations and are seated on. First come first serve basis.
We were seated within 25 minutes as a party of 6. The waitress was quick and friendly and took our drink orders then came back for our food orders. We got 2 loaves of yummy, hot, bread pretty quickly. The chicken loaded nachos were delicious and the serving was big! One plate fed all 6 of us as a starter. We got 2 family platters between the 6 of us and had more for leftovers. We also got a mix of wedge salads and house salads. Both were great. Parmesan chicken was delicious!
The waitress was so friendly and I was grateful to have such a helpful server. I’d definitely come here again. The restaurant itself was clean and warm.

This is an amazing restaurant. We went for the first time and can’t say enough good things about the service and the delicious food. Jarren is hands down the best server. This dude was running the bar and serving 5 tables plus us, and did it with ease and professionalism. He made our experience amazing and can’t thank him and the staff for a wonderful experience. If your reading this and your the owner of the company, give Jarren a raise!!!!

The food was alright, but really not amazing. I think they need to update the menu and cut the prices. It's pretty expensive, and I was left feeling disappointed.
Italian soda tasted like red cream soda with cream added. Salad was nothing special... go to Wendy's if you want a more interesting salad. Spaghetti a bit soft, definitely not al dente; sauce was probably just from a can, as it just tasted like tomato paste. The ribeye and shrimp scampi were decent so that was a plus; but again I don't feel they added anything special to make the dishes uniquely theirs. So overall, disappointing for the high price point. Olive Garden has similar menu items that I feel taste better for slightly cheaper price.

Food was really good. Service was much better this time then the time before. Waiter was very attentive and never let my drink run dry. Definitely will go back. Only reason I took off one star was because of the price. It is a little spendy.

Had a great night out with the family. The staff was very thoughtful and safe about their space. The food was an interesting Italian/Mexican mix and good all around. First thing they bring out, fresh bread with an olive oil mix for dipping. The drinks were nice and big. The salads came out right away and everyone was delighted with there selections. My wife and mother-in-law are unable to eat gluten (which is in normal pasta), but they had a gluten-free pasta available. Main courses were good all around, and we even got some gluten-free Chocolate Lava Cake to finish things off. I think the only thing I can complain about was being too full. It was a fantastic afternoon.

Johnny Carino's strikes me as restaurant in decline. The building is falling into somewhat of disrepair. The staff's level of care is not where it needs to be. The restrooms are hideous & the service is slow. Really slow. The food is ok. Should be better for the price. The appetizer had the temperature and consistancy of having set way to long after being cooked. Salad was ok. My seafood fettuccine was decent, accept for the troubling discovery that a 1/3 of the muscles hadn't opened when cooked and were buried under the noodles. Unopened muscles should never make into an entree. That means there unsafe to eat. The shinning spot of the dinner outing was dessert. The tiramisu was awesome! It single handedly almost revived the dinner experience. Almost. If I go to Johnny Carino's again, it's probably because every other restaraunt in town had an unbearable wait time.
