El Comalito - Amherst - Photo album

Good food at a good price. The dishes were prepared with homemade and fresh ingredients. Portions were generous. The interior is not welcoming and could use touches to create an inviting space. Perhaps, Mexican blankets hung from the ceiling to create division and “wall” between some of the tables.
Delicious food. The passion fruit lemon mojito is very tasty. It was quite hot inside the restaurant. Other than that, it was a good place. I definitely recommend.
I’ve been here 7-10 times, and every time has been a pleasure. The succeed in all phases of a Mexican restaurant- margs, chips/salsa, guac, and shrimp quesadilla. On top of that their atmosphere is nice; they really make the most of a small facility!
I’ve been going here for years. Nothing less than a five star experience every time. Very consistent and delicious food. Super friendly staff that remember my name! Amazing margaritas and pupusas too!

El Comalito has a great food and drinks. We go regularly and have also brought friends that are always happy with what they get. Their churros are the best I’ve ever had. We love to get them to take home to enjoy later, because we are always so full from the large portions.
Mexican and El Salvadorian fare. Just a bit difficult to find in the back of the plaza. Sort of between the Speedway gas station and the plaza. Plenty of parking there by the entrance. Exterior is clean and well maintained. It was "Chicken Burrito Monday" so I went for the daily special. A generous
