My family and I are new to the area. The food was great and the staff was super friendly. We will definitely come back.

We had a sister breakfast last week. Best bacon ever! It's a cozy little diner feel, with a friendly atmosphere. The food was great, and prices are very affordable.
Service was friendly and prompt. Wish I had heard of it sooner.
Let me start by saying that diner food is my favorite. I decided to try Tangies given its status as a mom and pop diner.
I ordered the French Toast Special and a side of scones. All the flavors were perfect--the sausage was cooked perfectly, the eggs were very flavorful, and as others have mentioned, the blackberry syrup is delicious! The French toast was a little soft to my taste, but again, the taste was there.
Scones were hot and fresh with a little crispness. Best I've found in the area. I will definitely be back, if only for those. :)
Notes for first timers:
- Seat yourself when you walk in. No need to wait for anyone to assist you. (I got confused and went to the counter first)
- Pay at the counter when you are done eating. You will not get a check at your table.
- I was the only person under 40 in the entire establishment for the half hour I was there
- Other reviews I've read say it's a little hostile to newbies but I did not experience that.
The sign above the door said "This is where the locals eat." And another sign said, "Adult Daycare." Great food, great prices, lovely waitress & comfortable ambiance. Great place to meet friends or eat before a road trip!
I want to kick myself for living in Lehi for 16 years and not going into Tangie’s until today. Great food, great prices, great service. The hostess who helped us was lovely! Will definitely be back!
The pancakes were great and the garbage hash browns were to die for! Decent ambiance, not too loud or big.

Better then the big chain store and the big local restaurant. True hometown feel amazing food with amazing service going to Tangies for Sunday breakfast is the highlight of my week.
The food that we had was great! The customer service is very down to earth and attentive. They brought us a variety of condiments and a couple of sweet toppings such as blackberry and boysenberry syrup for our food. The prices are very affordable as well! If you sit at the window you can have a nice view of the street and it's vintage feel. And the place was clean and very cute!
This restaurant was such a welcomed surprise. From the moment you enter the unique decor gives throws you a curve ball but they completely make up for it with amazing and fast service, and amazing food. The food had all the taste of an amazing home cooked meal with none of the effort! It was even the quickest service my wife and I have ever had. We were in and out in about 30 min and went straight home to take a nap because the food was incredible! Not only that but it was probably one of the most affordable breakfasts I've ever paid for and thats after a 50% tip. I'm definitely coming back to try out the other menu options because this was such a great first impression!
I walked in Tangies for the first time and asked them what they were famous for and they said "garbage hash browns". So I ordered some up. The hash browns had everything in them, then I had two eggs over easy placed on top and then they poured their homemade gravy over all. It was amazing.
I absolutely adore this place darling! The ambiance was absolutely stunning😍. The workers were among some of the kindest I've had the pleasure of interacting with and the food... was absolutely marvelous ✨️. If you truly want to feel at home, come and join us at tangies love. We are there every Monday morning at about 7:45 am. I hope to see you there. Much love ❤️
