We took a chance and we were rewarded! What a wonderful little hole-in-the-wall place. You walk in the door and it screams Chinese food and they deliver. We had one of the dinner combinations for 2 people and had soup, cashew chicken and sweet and sour pork with fried rice. They were all delightful, tender meat, and flavorful dishes. I liked the noodles in my egg flower soup and the sauces on the dishes were wonderful. The service was very humble, helpful, and attentive. Definitely will be going back.

The food and service here are excellent. They serve enough to share or take it home for leftovers. I’d definitely recommend their combo meals. Their cashew chicken actually has a lot of whole cashews and their orange chicken is delicious.

The orange chicken was really good. The restaurant itself was clean. Did not have any menus readily available. Could not verify hours of operation.

Went on Christmas day. The place was packed. Got seated surprisingly fast. We got the General Toe's Chicken, Orange Peel Chicken and Cashew Chicken. All were really good and good sized portions. Food came out hot with lots of sauce. Service was slightly slow, but is expected when it's that busy. *Update* Went during the week around 1. Wasn't crowded at all. Had General Zaos and Sesame Chicken. Both were great. First time eating the sesame chicken and will definitely add it to my top favorites here. Friendly and fast service. Still one of our favorites.

China Isle, hands down, has the best Chinese food within Utah County. Their prices are so much more affordable than all of their competition, and they have a large variety of dishes. Once, they got my order wrong. I called to inform them about it, and, much to my dismay, the first thing they did was apologize for their mistake! Very few businesses offer apologies anymore. It's excuses, putting the blame on the customer, and no attempt to make it right. An apology goes a long way. Businesses don't realize that word of mouth is the #1 means of generating or losing customers. Next, China Isle wanted to make it right, and they did by offering me the exact order free of charge. Honestly, what eating establishment does this anymore? They serve the customer generous portions and make sure to thank you for your visit. My favorite dish is the green bean shrimp combo meaI. If you mix the remainder of the sauce with your ham fried rice, it tastes awesome! I recommend you should give them a try, and you'll want to come back again.

ETA: Yummy food, but still noticed the portions have decreased, except for the rice. The staff was very nice and attentive despite being short and running everywhere. I've been to China Isle many times. This time I was a little disappointed. The food is still good, that's not the problem. I've talked for years about the signs of the downfall of a restaurant. Tonight I saw the signs. No menu, besides the paper take out menu. Plastic plates, where ceramic plates used to be. Generic plastic drinkware compared to branded ones before. And the reason for my decrease in stars, potion sizes that were half of what they used to be. The same meal that used to feed my family (at the same price) now only fed my daughter and I. It's a vicious cycle, a business tries to save money and cut costs because patronage isn't as plentiful. Patrons slowly stop coming because things have changed and are not as good as they used to be. The value is lacking. That's the beginning of the end and it's sad to see.

Price plus food equals five stars!! Such a great value you can’t hate it! For under $10 you get so much great Chinese food, table service, soup, spring roll, and fried rice!! Killer! I love their orange chicken! Great place for small or large groups. Great and fast service!

We've eaten here twice and we love it. The lunch specials are a lot of food for a really great price. Sometimes we share a lunch. But the fried ice cream is our favorite. It's like a soft crunchy pillow of a donut covering ice cream inside and it is delicious!

A hidden gem for American Asian food. Atmosphere is very generic; table and chairs with the traditional Chinese zodiac placemats. A variety of music which was refreshing, we had everything from soft French to jazz to Elvis. What it 'lacks' in decor and ambiance, the food makes up for it. They really focus on their food. Egg rolls were fresh and crispy. We had their orange chicken, delish. The tempura was lightly coated and crunchy. Yum. Also had their house pan fried noodle plate. Fresh meats and the fresh crisp vegetables were perfectly el dente!! Price was reasonable. Will return to try their sesame chicken, egg flower soup, beef broccoli, walnut shrimp... goodness I can't wait to return!

Comfortable environment, delicious food, reasonable price. We are not egg drop soup people unless it is from this restaurant. My sesame chicken was shockingly DELICIOUS. In the lunch combo there is more than enough food to fill you up and still have leftovers for later in the day. I've always been on the fence about egg rolls, but these ones have tipped me over the fence and now I love them! Basically, haters, fence sitters, and Chinese food lovers are going to leave here fully satisfied.

Date of Visit: 6/15/2019 OVERVIEW - 5.0 Came here with my little family upon the recommendation of some close friends of ours in American Fork, when we were scouting out a cheap gut-filling solution to lunch. LOCATION - 5 The China Isle is located on the very busy 500 East in a little strip mall. It can be hard to notice if you are not looking for it. PRICE - 5 I loved the prices, for the lunch special. I paid $6.55 for my dish. It was an amazing price for the quantity of food that was served. PRODUCTS/SERVICES - 5 I ordered the Lemon Chicken. It came with one egg roll, wonton, fried rice, and the lemon chicken. It truly was a lot of food for the price and was amazingly delicious, it did not disappoint. POINTERS/PERKS - 5 The WiFi password to their free WiFi network is Chinaisle6688. EMPLOYEES -5 The server was nice and ensured my glass was never empty.

The appetizer and the meal I ordered we're really good. My partner had a different experience. Their appetizer, soup, wasn't brought out until after the meal. Also their meal was cold. They asked if it could be replaced so, the manager came out. She was visibly bothered about this, asked a bunch of questions, kept touching the plate to feel the temperature in different places. She did authorize a replacement meal and didn't charge us for it. Our server was really embarrassed about this and was very apologetic. I left a 30% tip, literally none of this was their fault. Always tip your server, problems with the food are literally never their fault. Although my partner highly recommended the place said they won't go back, I'd go back if I was looking for some place to go by myself.

Wonderful food and great service. If I could have more than one stomach for eating I would probably order everything twice and have none leftover. Service is always so friendly and kind and sweet and loving and caring and happy. General Tso would be proud, the sweet and sour and orange chicken are a must. Egg rolls, wantons, definitely going here tomorrow. I'm so hungry now.

I almost always get Kung Pao Chicken at Chinese restaurants. China Isle has the best Kung Pao Chicken I've ever had! Yum!
