The family meal is da booomb! Two pounds of meats, rice, beans, chips, salsas, tortillas (you may need to buy more of those because it's not enough), and a two liter bottle. You'll have tacos for days! Check out all that goodness. Make some bean burritos. The meats are fantastic, though the El Pastor stands apart. Carne Asada is great, but not as iconic for them as their Al Pastor. Be sure to get pineapple!!!

Love this spot! It's rare to find a Mexican spot outside of CA that really does it right but this place nails it. Two of my kids live within 5 minutes of it and they loved it immediately and will likely eat there regularly. My son in law grew up in CA and misses this stuff and he seems to be delighted that he can get it right down the street. I live in NV but I visit a lot so I'll be stopping by any time I'm in town. Great food, service and ambiance!

Happened upon this place recently and we were pleasantly surprised by the food here. Really solid Mexican food! Servings were good size, good salsa and chips (we like the red one best), and everything is fresh. Very happy with this one. One thing I would like is a slightly larger chips serving to go with our meals and larger salsa cups.

Really good food and friendly service. The menu has plenty of variety and everything I have tried was very tasty. This is a great choice for dine in or take out.

Great food great service good prices. Dining Room is cute and they have a separate bar where you can serve yourself sauces and they have fresh limes for your food. They also have these wonderful punch drinks available. There's a coconut, a lemon lime, a pineapple mango and a cantaloupe flavor! Wonderful drinks especially for fruit lovers! This place is great for kids and families.

Delicious food. I usually get the Al Pastor tacos and they are đź’Ż! They do a great job with seasoning them and give you a decent chunk of pineapple on top. Each meal comes with a bag of tortilla chips and there is a pretty nice salsa bar where you can grab whatever hotness of salsa is right for you. They also have a variety of drinks including horchata and Jamiaca. The portion of food is substantial!

We love everything we've tried there, but those fish tacos are extra good! Great agua frescas, too. The salsa leans hot—yes, I'm a Gringo. The cashier that helped me spoke about 5% English, that was interesting.

Probably the best place to get tacos that are as good as the classic taco cart tacos you find. I visited a few months back and quality was alot better with better service. They have great food but I came around 4 p.m. and it was very slow with only 1 other customer but the staff missed details on what I asked for and made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them for asking to have my order the way I asked. It was a few kids all under 20 probably so most likely not their A team staff but it reflected in how the food was prepared and how I felt about the overall experience. Carne asada taco was a 10 Shrimp Taco 8 Fish Taco 7 Their menu looks great though and ill be back to try out some new items. This joint is so close to a 10 though and with a little more attention to detail they could be a new favorite.

Love everything about this place! Very high-quality food, and tastes great. Little pricier, but still reasonable. They also have good portions.

First time trying this place via take out of course! We tried one of the family meals - 2 pounds of your choice of meat (we tried al pastor and carne asada) and it did not disappoint! Al pastor was just an explosion of flavors, especially paired with slices of pineapple on top of every taco I created with this meat. Carne asada was also good, but it had spots of fat in the pile, that I had to pick out. I’m sure this is standard, as the small bits of fat added to the flavor of the meat. The corn tortillas that came with this family meal was really nice and soft, and a bit more fluffy than the corn tortillas I normally come across - I really enjoyed them this way! The retried beans had great flavor and had the perfect amount of salt in it. The Mexican rice my little one enjoyed, so I was impressed as she is a food critic! Will def come back to this place, as its prob the best tacos I’ve had in Utah (so far!)

The food was delicious! This restaurant is very easy to find, it's right off of I-15 in Lehi. I had tacos al pastor and something called the volcán. Ir was carne asada on a tostada with onion, cilantro, and need cheese on top. I've never had anything quite like it and aside from the tostada being sightly to hard to bite, it was extremely good. The food at this little taqueria was very good, but the prices were just a little higher than I'd like, hence the 4 star review. Other than that, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the mood for some good Mexican food.

Update as of 3/18/22 - We have been here MANY times, but this last time was a bit disappointing. The guac wasn't seasoned much- needs more salt and more lime (but I guess I understand why they don't do that, cause people like theirs differently). I got three tacos and my husband got the carnitas chimichanga, and my carnitas taco and his chimichanga were REALLY dried out, to where parts needed to be spit out. My daughter's fries were almost over fried, seriously overcooked, almost like a cracker. Hopefully next time will be better. Today was the second visit we have had and it was great, once again! We were blown away the first time. First visit I got carnitas, chicken and Al pastor tacos and my husband got the carne asada burrito. The burrito was awesome and my tacos were too, but the chicken was just chicken so I don't recommend that. Got a quesadilla for our son and it was great and filling. They give free chips!!!! Finally a place with free chips and a salsa bar! Salsa bar is okay. Today we got the carnitas chimichanga and the carne asada nachos. Carne asada nachos were AMAZING while the chimichanga was good, but not great. Too many beans, to where it overpowered the taste of the carnitas. But the carne asada meat here is delicious. So reasonably priced and great options! Our new fav Mexican place. Our old fav closed and they had the best chimichanga we have ever had, which is why else Mexicense's is alright and not great. But we will definitely come here again and again!

This isn’t a regular restaurant; you order at the front and then find a seat and your food is brought out to you when it’s ready. We came at 7pm Saturday night and it was a full house. We had trouble finding a place to sit- we had to ask someone if we could use the part of the table they weren’t using and grabbed a chair from another table. I noticed while waiting for my food that several people were shuffling around chairs. However, the staff was on top of cleaning tables as people left to make more room. They give you a bag of chips after you order and there’s a salsa bar- I thought the bag of chips was charming in its simplicity. The tables had fresh flowers who was nice. I ordered the carne asada chimichanga without rice and beans, and my husband got the nachos. My chimichanga was delicious and had a clean taste. Sometimes when you order a chimichanga at other places it tastes like it was cooked in a fryer that hasn’t had its oil changed in months- but not here. It’s the first thing I noticed when biting in- it’s fresh, clean taste. My husband wasn’t as impressed with his nachos as I was the chimichanga, he found them to be average. The decor is fun, and there’s lots of drink options. Great place for groups (if you can find a seat) or a dinner date.

El Mexiquense Grill was so delicious!! We found this place after we ordered ice cream around the corner and couldn't resist checking it out. The restaurant was clean and adhered to the COVID guidelines, and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant was also open for dine in, so there were a few people siting down and waiting for their food to be ready. We ordered our food to go and got 2 tacos (Al pastor and carne asada) and the super delicious mango pineapple drink from the drink bar. I recommend this place for super fast Mexican food and will be back if ever in the Lehi area.
