Worth Going Out Of Your Way To Eat. This is not only great comfort food but the specials are a great addition to the menu. Some of the great menu items we have tried are the chicken fried steak, green chilie burger and the chicken fried steak sandwich (on sourdough bread). Today we tried the patty melt and grilled tilapia special. It was absolutely cooked perfect. Best fish I've tried anywhere. The sides are a nice balance to the menu (great homemade chips!) One dessert -Homemade chocolate chip cookies. You won't miss having a larger choice. Worth going downtown to eat even if you don't work there. Relaxed atmosphere.
Tyler Street Cafe offers a warm atmosphere that allows you to sit and visit with friends and family while serving delicious food. Lincoln and his employees are always very pleasent and friendly and greet you with a smile. I love the fact that he still serves some of the food from his other restaurants. I have always liked the food served at Lincoln's restaurants and would have like to see the others succeed, he is an awesome Chef!!!!
