Came to this place because of the reviews and I was NOT disappointed at all!!
Came for dinner and had an Onion soup which had Swiss cheese on top which worked very well with this soup. The entree was a Lobster Paella, which had Lobster, Shrimp, Clams, Mussels, and Spicy Sausage. This was really, really good. The sausage gave the paella the right amount of kick in which tjere was no hot sauce needed. The shrimp were a good size and it had a bunch of clams and mussels. The only thing I would say is that it could have used a little more lobster since it was called a Lobster Paella and not a Seafood Paella. The last thing I had was a brownie sundae at the recommendation of the bartender. It was damn good. Lots of whipped cream and a good amount of ice cream on the brownie.
The food was great, and the bartender who was serving was very good. Great spot to,come, and get something to eat, and also grab a drink.
Dog Friendly!! Great atmosphere, 2 hour parking lot behind the restaurant. Pictures of the Crispy shrimp and zucchini Fritters both perfect!(and the pupper, not edibleš)
Had a beautiful lunch today at Main Street Tavern. From the delicious food to the strong drinks, my group had an enjoyable time. Would definitely come back next time Iām in town!
Wow! A tavern with the best food I had in the Montauk - Amagqnsett area, hands down!
All fresh and luscious.
I had the homemade chicken pot pie, which was out of this world.
My wife had the burger- like no other burger she had, her words. The fries were also like no other with a puffy shape of happiness in each bite.
To end it all was a spectacular, homemade apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Insane. Not a slice of apple pie with ice cream but a homemade dish you cannot ship when you go there.
Remember, we all have two stomachs, one for food and one for dessert, lol.
So how much was all of this? Extremely reasonable and below most places that were horrible in Montauk.
I personally have my compliments to the chef and may go there on my way home tomorrow.
Donāt let Tavern fool you, itās too notch!
Sorry I ate the food too quick for pictures but you see half the apple cobbler.
The Tavern is my go to dinner spot. The service is always above par and the food goes above and beyond. Danielle and
Stephanie always make our visits special and we will continue to return.
Me and my boyfriend were looking where to go for dinner, and we randomly saw this place at Google maps, we were a little skeptical because of how not many reviews it has, but decided to give it a try!
And oh Iām so happy we did!
This place has a nice & cozy atmosphere/interior, fish tacos are SO GOOD! The crab special was amazing! Cocktails are smooth and tasty!
This place is definitely worth a visit!
Do not walk, run to Indian Wells!! The burgers are fantastic, the salads are huge, the service is great.
Lively atmosphere and sports on TV all around you.
Amazing food, amazing staff, and covid safe. The steak sandwich is incredible and loved the special spare ribs dish we had. (Also cocktails were amazing).
In summary, I suggest you go!
Good happy hour. Half dozen kitchen friendly items in special (the full menu does not start until 5pm, while HH started at 4) discounts on beer, well drinks, and wine.
Awesome breakfast/ brunch and real supporter of our troops. Proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride! The tavern is split between the bar and a seated area and is a definate local favorite with owners who are local, hard working and proud of their roots. We had brunch and can only speak on our event and if based on our menu I suggest to book them for catering. Served the basics, eggs, meats, etc but the fruit was very fresh, awesome bagels and muffins....and ...smoked salmon to die for!!! The staff was gracious and excellent service.....highly recommended.
