This place has amazing food. We all had original gyros and side Greek salads. They were very filling and tasted amazing. We also opted to get stuffed grape leaves and fried zucchini for apps. Also very good. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for delicious fresh food. The waitresses we're very helpful and nice as well! We will be coming back soon!
We are vegetarian so we didn't quite know where to go for lunch as there are not too many options in this city but I'm glad we went here! Our waitress was so helpful and kind and recommended the best choices for us. Food was delivered quick and was delicious. Lots of great options on the menu both for those who eat meat and those who don't. Nice small town diner/cafe feel... Great place, definitely recommend!
Best gyros around hands down. Not only is the food amazing but the staff was wonderful. I locked my keys in the car and they were kind enough to let me hang out while I waited and could not have been nicer to me. They have a life long patron now for sure and I’ll tell anyone who will listen how good the food is!

I was travelling with the lovely lady and needed nourishment and repose. The Athenian Cafe had the finest food and refreshments a couple could ask for on a hot summers day. When one is weary from ones travels the Athenian Cafe stands as a beacon of light in a morass of eateries. Five Stars definitely!
Wonderful Greek food of generous proportions explained and then served by friendly waitstaff Diane and (new) Tomi in a pleasant atmosphere. A great discovery on our road trip through Altoona!
