Where should I begin...first when I walk in to pick up my order, the person comes out with plastic prep gloves on to receive my payment. He does the entire transaction with his gloves on. I then look for the stores grading score to notice they scored 87%. I typically do not eat at restaurants below 95%. So i guess I had it coming...After the transaction, he then returns to the back with the same glove on. No telling if he was coming cleaning or he was going back to prepare someone else's food after a transaction. From the moment I left the restaurant I wasn't expecting my food to be great. When I got back to work to eat, i wasn't at all impressed with the way it was prepared. To make a long story short, I will NOT be returning to this restaurant and would advise anyone to second think your decision to eat here. It's not worth the $10+ you will spend here and I would suggest going somewhere else like Panda Express for better quality food and service. If it was an option, I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Please work on this Ming's Cafe.

I posted a picture in the photo section that shows the questionable dish they delivered to me. It was supposed to be Chicken Panang Curry, but I got a 1/4 cup of chicken (maybe), and about 2 full cups of green peppers. I don't think I will ever order from here again. I understand that food costs are pretty outrageous for many restaurants these days. But that doesn't mean you have to short your customers.

I stopped at Mings because they advertise a new buffet. I walked in at 12:30 and was surprised no one was there, for good reason! I have eaten at Chinese buffets for years and its usually all you can eat. When I walk up to the counter the gentlemen says for 5.95 you can have 1 plate of food and for an additional charge you can eat all you want. I chose the 1 plate. Upon looking at the buffet there was the smallest amount of food offered I have ever seen at a Chinese buffet on top of that the wings they advertise on there banner outside were empty. Again there was no one in the place. I asked if I could get wings brought out because that was one of the reasons I stopped in. The gentlemen said they would be right out. After finishing my meal which was one of the worst Chinese buffets I've had I waited 15 minutes and no wings. I walked out and will never return and will let anyone I now this is a rip off. There are several good buffets in Alpharetta, but this is by far the worst. Service bad, food terrible!

The food had a distinctly different taste compared to other Fast food chinese the first time and after 2 more times I realized that it's not a good different. Food is very dry and the consistency of the meat is awful. Dine in service is fine but delivery is horrible. I waited 2 hours on my order and I live less than 2 miles away.

[Time & Date of visit]: Sunday night 1/18/15
[Party Size]: 2
[Location/Ambiance]: Aside from small section of booths and tables, there's not much going on aside from the counter and the unused sushi fridge/display case. Not sure why that is there though. Most people seem to order to go or delivery, so not many people dining in. Decor is outdated or re-used from the prior establishment.
[Service]:
Aside from the lady taking care of phone orders, she was also the server and food runner. I think she did a pretty good job of balancing phone orders and taking care of us and drink refills.
[Food Highlights]:
Mixed Vegetables - W/ Beef: Serving size, this isn't bad for the money when ordering as a combo. Though the brown sauce is decent, this establishment is catered to more Americanized kind of palates. If this is how you swing for Asian food, it's decent eats. If you want authentic, there's more options down the road. Literally. There were more veggies then beef as for who's concern with ratios. The beef is slightly chewy on some cuts given, but still appetizing. The eggroll that was included was mostly fillers of cabbage.
Wonton Soup - Broth was a good hearty taste, though I don't think it would be too appealing for non Asian / Asian-American's such as my room mate who is extremely picky and who also picked this place. The wonton itself could have used more filling. Almost bare.
[Total Bill w/ Tax]: Less than $10
{Summary}:Portion wise if all you want is American Chinese food but can't handle the true spices, this is pretty decent for a take out Chinese food kind of place. If you're more adventurous, Volcano is a slight step up down the road.

I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but this place is disgusting. We had Pad Thai and General Tsu's chicken. Both dishes had the flavor and texture of grocery store freezer isle Chinese food. Never again.

Prices not as advertised.... Called to place a delivery order base on website link provided...but those "prices are not correct"...everything I ordered was $1 more than advertised with a delivery fee on top of it which has nothing to do with tip for the driver and no chicken wing...whatever...desperate for delivery after a few adult beverages. Will not likely order again unless equally desperate for delivery after a few adult beverages.

Sides of rice that comes with entree are not enough for medium sized entrees. Good tasting Chinese food. Good customer service. Will probably order to go next time.
