Grand China Buffet

Travelling through on our way back from camping, we decided to stop here for a Father's Day late lunch... quickly regretted our decision. Waste of $40. The workers were quick but not friendly, restuarant was dirty and no air conditioning, food was old and dry. The only good thing about this restaurant is the hot tea. Save yourself some money and go to the grocery store for dinner. Or anywhere else but here. I'm not sure if there's something in the water here or what, but there's friendlier human beings in Flint than there are here in Alpena.

The table was sticky, the buffet was decent, not a ton of choices however. The bathroom was HORRIBLE, the stall door was almost falling off and didn't lock. The toilet had fecal matter on the top rim of the bowl. It was busy, it was a dirty mess, they did not have social distancing in place, no plastic gloves to use on the handle of the utensils, the food was mediocre at best and I would not recommend!!

First time here. Loved it. Terrific assortment of foods...chicken, beef, shrimp, vegetables, noodles, eggrolls. Go back as much as you want. Sides were great. Dessert table...cakes, puddings, pie, ice cream. Free refills on drinks. Waitress was friendly. Prices SUPER! Two of us ate for less than $20. Wow! Will be back.
