Thunder Bay River Restaurant

I felt like Prime Rib tonight and the Courtyard was packed. Called Thunder Bay River Restaurant and he said Prime Rib was on special tonight! What Luck! How wrong I was! Pulling in and being the only car in the parking lot on a busy Saturday night is surely a warning sign that I did not heed. Walking in and finding not another customer in the restaurant should have been a another warning sign! Probably the worst prime rib I have ever had! Service was assuredly quick with all the microwave ovens beeping coming from the kitchen. Mashed potatoes were old and tasted a bit off. I heard the cook tell the waitress that he gave me Turkey gravy instead of beef and scooped out most of the Turkey gravy and substituted the beef gravy mostly. Only about half of the cut of prime rib should have been edible if it were cooked properly the rest was grizzle and inedible matter. Gave it another shot, still BAD!

I was told many mixed reviews about Thunder Bay River Restaurant. •••Don't Believe the Negativity••• TBRR like many resturants take a minute to get their game on lockdown. Here are a few highlights from my experience. -Welcoming Environment -Quality Service -Very Expansive Menu -Quality Food -Completely Fair Prices -They Serve Alcohol I spoke with the owner and seen how excited he was to service our community. Like many we yearn for new places to eat and hangout. Give them your community warmth and a welcoming opportunity to show you what they do best.

The food was amazing, with huge portions that I couldn't finish. The restaurant has recently changed to a Polish food restaurant, and it was a delicious change. I got the pastrami tots, which was an enormous bowl of tater tots, beer cheese, spicy ranch which did not disappoint, cheddar, pastrami and bacon. It was fantastic. Morgan, our server, was very polite, pleasant, and informative regarding all of the food options. I will definitely eat here again!

This is an interesting place. New Polish- leaning menu with meats sourced by local restaurants. Food was good. $2 margaritas, but only on the rocks... they strangely charge $3 extra ($5 total) for blending it. Odd. Had GREAT service from Hanna. Enjoyed the Club Sandwich with Tater Tots for lunch. Delicious Cole slaw! I'll be back.
