One of the greatest joys of travel is trying those "out-of-the-way" Mom and Pop restaurants where all the locals go to eat. When it is FREE PIE FRIDAY and the owners are Christians, even better. Today's special: Chicken In The Garden, green salad, homemade bread, unsweetened tea and the FREE pie (
Wonderful home-made bread for my BLT! Side of mashed potatoes, bacon and cheese was yummy! Over a dozen home-made delicious pies! Husband had a great salad! We will stop here again.
Stop in for breakfast on a road trip. Food is amazing and the service was wonderful. We didn’t order anything with bread so they brought us out their homemade bread to try and…WOW…so, so good! This is a must stop!
Super friendly staff, and the food did not disappoint. Great cinnamon rolls with awesome frosting! The homemade hamburger buns were excellent. Thank y'all for a nice break from the drive for some good food.
We stumbled upon this on a road trip & could not be happier! The hospitality was unparalleled, the HOMEMADE (yes, homemade) bread is warm and melt-in-your-mouth delicious & the food was perfect. Prices were cheap & not at all indicative of the quality of food! Absolutely would recommend & only 5 min
Neat local place. Great chili and pinto bean soup. Outstanding sourdough bread and I'm not a sourdough fan! Substantial sandwiches and friendly staff. We'll be back!
Homemade sandwiches, pies and meals. Chicken salad sandwich on homemade bread really hit the spot. Pie was delicious. We will eat lunch here again.
Absolutely LOVED the BLT sandwich!!! The waitress actually asked me if I wanted Miracle Whip or Mayo on it! (I was raised on Miracle Whip & never eat regular Mayo so I was impressed that they even offered it). I asked for extra crispy (almost burned) bacon & it was perfect! They use homemade bread
