The Volland Store - Alma - Photo album

My husband and I went off the beaten path to visit The Volland Store on a road trip. After traveling 8 miles down a gravel road, we were greeted by a quaint and beautiful outpost with an impressive gallery space and outdoor theatre area. The staff greeted us warmly and we enjoyed a wonderful convers
My husband and I used The Volland Store as the venue for a small dinner following our vow renewal. The store itself is absolutely lovely...a gem in the Flint Hills! All of our guests raved about it. Patty and her entire crew are a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to come back someday! Photos: Ro
Pretty incredible old building. Nice conversion for events center. Has a loft apartment upstairs. Worth a visit or schedule an event.
What a lovely location! As my wife and I were driving through Kansas, she mentioned that she wanted to come to this location after hearing so much about how artists come to express themselves here. We were not disappointed! This area embodies so much artistic sense. It is calming and inspiring at
If you're looking for a "wanna getaway" spot, the Loft at the Old Volland store is a bullseye! Clear your head, breathe some fresh air, explore nature!
A magic musical performance and dinner curated by Ensemble Iberica!
We have been here three times. The first about twelve years ago the building was just a shell. Then two years ago we attended a stone cellar tour. Today was our third visit for a barn tour. Both tours were great and the building is incredible. If you did not have the chance to see the Volland Store
Cool off the beaten path place. Live music and great art exhibition.
Nice place, historic. They provide old stone barn and cellar tours that are fun to go on. They also have put on other fun events. Off the beaten path but worth going. Check out their website for dates and times.
A great oasis during Garmin Unbound. Would collapse for water here again. A seriously cool couple of buildings, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I see now that you can actually book lodging here! Would definitely like to give that a try.
