A Sweet Morsel is my go to bakery. I recommend it to anyone in the North Hills area. I’ve worked with them for custom cupcakes for an event we hosted and most recently for a baby shower cake. Everyone always raves about how delicious desserts are. They’re extremely responsive and easy to work with.
On the weekends I try to stop by to pick up their thumbprints, cookie sandwiches, or the peanut butter skillet bars (which do not last long in our house as they’re so good!!).
We made a last min party grub hub order for gluten free desserts and they took time to call us about our order. Extremely friendly and accommodating! The cookie cake looks amazing!! Thank you!!
Highly recommend A Sweet Morsel Co for your wedding cake! I did a classic two tiered cake and provided sample photos and floral pieces and they made it look beautiful! The owner doesn't compromise on taste when it comes to her cakes. Everyone thought it was delicious and I don't think I'll be saving my cake top for a year, I'll be eating it way before then :). (Also love their sugar cookies and cake pops!!!)

We hired A Sweet Morsel to do our wedding cake for our 6/9/23 wedding after our friends/family recommended them from previous experiences, and they did not disappoint! We ordered our cake months in advance picking our a simple yet elegant style and our dreams came true! Our cake looked stunning and tasted amazing. The price was also incredibly reasonable. I have also bought other cookies/sweets from them since and they're great every time! Would recommend them 1000x over!
At A Sweet Morsel, my husband bought me a container of varied cookies. The apricot kolache had the perfect amount of apricot filling. The snickerdoodles were moist and flavorful. The chocolate coconut bites were very coconut. The lady locks were tasty but a little dry. The pecan dips, lemon shortbread, peanut butter blossoms, and sprinkle sugar cookies tasted average. A Sweet Morsel does sell many other products, such as cakes and cupcakes, so I might try some of those in the future. I would return for the 5-star apricot kolaches.

After driving by this place many times, I decided to finally try this bakery. I ordered one dozen cupcakes the day before I needed them, and I was impressed that they were able to accommodate me on such short notice. The staff was very friendly on the phone and in person. I got chocolate and vanilla batter cupcakes with vanilla icing, and both were delicious, just the right size and not too much icing. The cake was fluffy and the icing was light and damn good. I prefer them over Oakmont’s cupcakes and would definitely order again. I’m looking forward to trying their other baked goods in the future, too.
I live in Canada and wanted to surprise my friend that lives in Pittsburgh on her birthday with some cupcakes. I ordered her 6 from A Sweet Morsel Co. and she absolutely loved them. She said they were 10/10, so when I am visiting next week, my friend and I are going to make a trip to their store to get a cupcake :D

I’ve used a sweet morsel 2 birthdays in a row now for my daughter and I get so many compliments on her cakes and cookies. They are so talented there, and their cakes are delicious. I’m so glad I found them and tell everyone about them!
Called A Sweet Morsel after my other baker cancelled my order at the last minute. I wanted iced cookies for my daughter's bridal shower. Boy did they deliver! The cookies were absolutely beautiful! The theme was rose' and they did pink wine bottles and glasses and well as smaller cookies to compliment the display. Because I was driving out of state for the shower and would not be serving them for three days, they bagged each cookie individually to keep them fresh. They were fresh and delicious! Wish I had a picture to share but I forgot to take one! Everyone was so impressed with the look and the taste. I would highly recommend this wonderful local store and can't thank them enough for helping me out with very little notice!
I am sooo happy with how my daughters 1st birthday smash cake turned out. I reached out to them online and they got back to me right away. I sent them a picture of what I was envisioning and it turned out perfect. I am also gluten intolerant and was so happy to find so many options for me to choose from. The cupcakes are amazing. My husband and I are not cake people, so A Sweet Morsel was literally perfect for us for our wedding cake! They were beyond affordable and made us a gorgeous cake which was more than enough to feed our 80+ guests. They offer delivery but we had a family member pick it up. They don’t solely do wedding cakes but we wanted a more simple, naked design and they gave us exactly what we asked for. They also offer many different types of cookies – we didn’t end up ordering any, but they would be perfect to help fill any cookie table!

Omg! Did I say omg! I ordered a cake from here for my birthday and almost had an anxiety attack. I couldn't wait to take a bite of this cake!
So, as a child, you dream of candy falling from the sky. Well, this cake looks like candy literally fell from the sky and fell onto my birthday cake! Can you hear the excitement through my description?
Within 36 hours of my event, I was able to special order this cake, which was a plus. The cake was moist, fresh, sweet, designed by a genius, well packaged, and definitely not shorted any toppings. The payment and pick up process was easy peasy. The website was easy to navigate and showed clear realistic pictures of their products.
I'm excited to go back although my doctor may frown upon it.
If you want some sweet, yummy in your tummy, make ya mouth drool baked goods, then stop by.
You won't be disappointed.

This is our 3rd year ordering cakes and cookies from A Sweet Morsel for our daughters birthday and we couldn’t recommend them enough! Everything always turns out so cute and tastes absolutely amazing too! Our guests always rave about how delicious everything is! I just ordered a 60th birthday cake on very short notice from the Signature line of cakes. Sweet Morsel was very kind to accommodate me and did a fantastic job. The cake was as pretty as it was super yummy (and I'm not typically a "cake-person"). Will return for future orders and absolutely recommend the chocolate rasberry!
One of my most favorite bakeries. Everything I've tried is always great. The staff are awesome. They communicate well and are attentive when placing custom orders. Over the years I have ordered custom cakes, cookies and cupcakes and each time I was beyond satisfied with the final result. Also, I feel that their prices are very reasonable and fair.
