Fantastic service and delicious food. Had a party here and was extremely pleased with how fast everyone was served. The pork sliders, dumplings, and tuna tacos are my favorite. And don't forget a cocktail 😉.

I went there with my dad and aunt. We were there for half price wine Tuesday, so we got wine. We ordered several appetizers, and they were all good: ravioli, flat bread with red pepper on it, and some sort of Brie concoction. My beet and green salad was excellent. However the clam chowder was overly salty, and I sent it back. Everyone enjoyed the main courses -- chicken Kiev and a shepherd's pie sort of thing made with beef. The service was welcoming and prompt. An excellent restaurant, I recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The service and drinks were excellent. My sausage stuffed pork chops were delicious. We will definitely go there again. The only downside was that the noise from the bar area seemed to carry through the whole dining room. But that was just a small distraction.

Absolutely fabulous! Fun bar. Delicious seasonally changing menu. Service is outstanding. If you haven't tried it, you won't be disappointed! Tuna appetizer was phenomenal. Our group had the salmon, the bass special, and the lamb. Presentations were lovely and the food wonderful. Great atmosphere. Great food in a delightful setting.

My wife and I love this place. The owner is most accommodating. She has a great appreciation for wines and her recommendations are spot on. The food is inspired. Chef is a superstar. His duck and pork preparations are outstanding. He does cooking classes which are fun and informative. Staff is very good.

My wife and I come here almost weekly for their happy hour. Staff is very friendly and attentive, food is fantastic and creative, menu changing regularly. Great cocktails, relaxing vibe. We’ve been trying restaurants (moved here recently) but most of the time just really want to come back here. Crispy scallop taco is fantastic and it is always fun to get one of their variations on empanadas or flatbreads are happy hour.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I love that the owner came from Ireland to make her dream come true in owning a business here. The menu is small, but well thought out. They deliver top quality in drinks and food. If you don't know, ask, they are all about making your experience the best.

My husband and I eat here weekly because we love it so much. The food is amazing! The peach and pecan stuffed pork loin is sweet and so tender, and is one of my current menu favorites, along with the duck which rivals my favorite French restaurants. My husbands favorites are the stuffed chicken breast and the tuna. We look forward to the seasonally changing menus and love to try everything. Also, make sure to get dessert! Another thing we love about Blue is the wait staff. My husband frequently picks up takeout and the bartender remembers him as soon as he walks in. I highly recommend Blue North. You won’t be disappointed!

Great especially with Bobby bartending the appetizers are very good and go well with the premium drinks. The dinners are good and well thought out. Previous reviewers said the decor was dated... I don't think so and I'm 29 and find it to be what I expect for a martini bar. Back to Bobby he is by far one of the best bartenders I have ever seen. His drinks are mixed well, loaded with a good amount of alcohol and are very consistent. This place is a good value during happy hour as the martinis are decently priced. After happy hour you should be ready to pay a premium for the drinks. They are not overpriced by any means there just what you would pay anywhere. I have never had a bad experience in the 10 or so times I have been here. I have never had a hangover as well which is very surprising given some nights when I was particularly thirsty.

Wonderful semi upscale food. Ingredients are typically local and excellent. Food can be a bit on the pricey side, with entrees varying from 20-35 dollars, but is well worth it. Servings vary immensely, some dishes are quite big whereas others can feel on the small side, but the quality is always there. Blue North is usually fairly quiet for dinner, so it makes for a relaxed evening. There's a large variety of cocktails available, all quite good, and an extensive wine list. They offer monthly wine tastings which are all worth going to with some friends. The bar itself has good happy hour specials too if you're just in the mood for a drink and appetizers.

Had a great dinner here, drinks and food were delicious. Loved the duck, very succulent and flavorful. The owner came by to check on us, she was very gracious. Good live music, not so loud as to limit conversation at all. Don’t judge this book by its cover!

Just went to Blue North for the first time along with my parents. I wish I could give this place more stars!! From the moment we walked in, to the amazing food (I recommend the scallops) Blue North is second to none. I also loved how the owner, G, took the time to introduce herself and make our experience so welcoming. We will definitely be back!

So glad we stumbled upon here during their soft opening a year ago, from the owner to greeters, everyone makes your dining experience special. Chef is doing amazing things not seen anywhere in the area. Try a wine tasting they have once a month, never disappoints.

We love e Blue and have been coming here for years. This was our first time since it reopened. It was great. Same great atmosphere and the martini list is huge! Meals and service are always very good.

Food, drink and atmosphere are great here. The only issue I had was we came in a small group after work, so at the end of the meal we had to figure out how to split up the check ourselves (since they did one check for the whole table of 8) We then had to explain it all to our server, which was irritating.

Blue North with it's kilt-clad chef surprised us. For a burb strip mall restaurant - it was really good!! It could easily compete with several in-city local chains (read: DeShanz-group, Big Burrito, etc). My beautiful wife and I had a fantastic French Egg salad, gnocchi, and scallops for appetizer; and ravioli for main. Dessert was banana bread. Everything was well executed with a balanced approach to the spice choices. We'll for sure come back here and try more things off the menu!
