This used to be our go to place. Loved it, but not sure what happened. First, we got a pizza delivered and the cheese was stuck to the top of the box. I called and talked to a guy who said he was the owner, sounded nice/apologetic and said next time we order, remind him, and the pizza is on him. A couple weeks later, I did that, went to pick it up, he had a hesitant look, but graciously knocked off 50%. Whatever. Next, a couple days ago, had an order to deliver for over 60.00. Ordered an order of poppers with marinara sauce, which was only .75 more, but I like(d) their sauce. I'm attaching a picture of what I received. 3 packets of ketchup. I checked the invoice/bill, was charged for the sauce, which I didn't receive. I have always talked this place up, no longer. There is a lot of competition. It looks like this place doesn't need business. (by the way, the packets were in with the poppers, and nothing we ordered needed ketchup, so there was no confusion regarding that, someone thought what was sent was adequate)

I had a Grandma pizza last night. Best I ever had! Well balance ingredients.
While I was waiting, I had a square piece of their thin crust Sicilian. Excellent sauce, olive oil, fresh mozzarella and grated Ramona on the sauce. The crust on both pies was very flavorful, This is my go-to place for pizza in Allentown. The rest are impostors.

Popped in this afternoon for a slice. The place was really quiet. The young girl who served me was chilling at a table on her laptop when I came in, "slice of cheese" I said, as always. While she was getting my slice I had a quick look around. The restaurant itself was very organized, tidy, and clean. Very simple decor that wasn't too overpowering with a really nice medium grey feel that was super relaxing 😎
While I waited, an older Italian dude came in and was speaking Italian to the younger dude making pizzas, I can only assume the elder was Giovanni himself. They seemed to be discussing something involving pizza pans, I think the young dude was getting scolded, but all Italian sounds like arguments to me. Both Italian dudes had face masks on, but they had them on their chin with face and nose exposed. I don't care about coronavirus really, I just don't like people that don't follow the rules...so dock 1 star for that. The pizza itself was alright! The crust was actually the best part, really good! Sauce was pretty good too, kinda sweet and robust at the same time. The slice just had too much cheese, with each bite you were left munching on a bunch of cheese, this seems to be an issue for me at a lot of spots. So 1 star dockage for the plethora of cheese. If it was balanced out, I'd be going with a 4 star review, but that ain't the case. Gonna go with a 6.2 on the 🍕 outta 10...alright stuff, too much cheese. Nice place though! Girl was nice too, good service, pizza was hot!

First time customer, ordered off their delivery app. Delivery was fast , however they need to becareful with the descriptions of their menu items on the app. For example. The description for their ravioli on the app was nothing like we received. It was mediocre at best, resembled what you could buy at your local grocery store in the freezer section to boil and then just add sauce. This being the most expensive item we bought made it a little disappointing. Despite taking into consideration the price hikes due to cost of food these days, their prices still seemed a bit too high for what you get. Most of the better reviews on here seem to be geared towards their pizza so maybe that is their specialty and the other menu items are just offered to give variety to their customers.

Wings were nice and crispy. Sauce was nice temperature. Meatball sub we ordered was excellent. Plain pizza was average but the chicken cheese steak hit the spot. Get extra marinara.

This was great pizza! We picked it up. While there I was greeted by a friend of mine, who was the previous owner of the Slice of Italy. He told me the pizza was as good as he used to have, and it was! Will definitely be going back.

This place is disgusting- the employees are rude and don’t even try to fix what was wrong with your food. They stated they could fix the issue, but they will need to charge you- get the hell out of here!! Ordering from The Crust from now on! Awful service and Awful food!!! Go to The Crust where they take pride in their food and appreciate their consumers!!!
