The Greenmouth Juice Cafe is a great establishment, very clean, the staff is friendly! I like that I can make my own custom drink there and the atmosphere is great in there. I definitely recommend that you check out this place you won't be disappointed !
We so needed a place like this downtown! The farmer's market quinoa salad of the day is delicious even without the lemon-based curry dressing on the side (which also is excellent). Welcome, new neighbor to center city Allentown!
My first one in the Allentown shop and it was just as wonderful as the Easton location. Keep doing your thing guys! Love it!
It was my first visit and definitely will not be my last. Both the customer service and me Lean and Green smoothie were great!
Delicious. Delightful. So grateful to have this level of quality in the Lehigh Valley :)
Love this place!! Juices are excellent!! I have the immunity, alkaline, detox on a regular basis! I feel energized after their juices! The soups, eggless egg salad, fabulous!
Super fresh and cozy atmosphere for getting in some quick work. Be prepared to park in a parking garage though since this is in the Arts Walk area.
Love all the smoothies I have try so far. Strawberry Cheesecake is delicious.
Really delicious food and drink here! I wish I lived closer so I could stop by often. Everything I tasted was amazing and so worth getting again. Employees were friendly and helpful in choosing which tumeric tea to get (I chose a tumeric chai with coconut milk). This place is great for vegetarians and vegans. The avocado toast is one of the best I've ever had.
It was our second time at Green Mouth Juice Bar in Allentown. They offer smoothies, food, salads, pour over coffee's. Everything is organic exclamation mark everything is locally sourced! You get the feeling they're probably hugging cows is in the back room. (And we mean that as positive statement.)
My wife had the Power Smoothie with almond butter, cacao and banana. It’s served in a mason jar with a handle. (which is specially excited her. She already loves mason jars at home, so it's disk to discover one in the wild, and add a handle! Work she was out of control happy.) And she love the smell of that she thought it was delicious.
I had the pour over homestead coffee. The beans are aged in bourbon barrels. This was a very flavorful coffee. (Though that unique bourbon flavor is a bit intense, and a whole cup of it was a bit too much.) Also, they served this to me in a paper cup, even though they have mugs on hand. We were dining in and I wish they asked us if we wanted it for here or to go because I hate wasting paper cups when it's not necessary, and, in general it's so much more satisfying drinking coffee out of a ceramic mug.
I had the quinoa porridge with homemade oat milk (That milk choice was at the staff member’s suggestion.) It sounded delicious…sweetened with maple syrup and served with bananas. In the end though, I was definitely disappointed. It tasted mostly like flavorless quinoa with very little, if any maple syrup presents. The old milk was definitely not the best choice and was very watery. If it weren't for the bananas, this would've been truly awful. Definitely could've used raisins or some other element.
Green mouth is a tiny place, with only three tables. They do offer free Wi-Fi in, which is cool. If you need to use the bathroom you need to grab the key and head outside and behind the restaurant, which probably isn't ideal in winter, but I suspect, especially considering the paper cup coffee incident, that most of their traffic is to-go. This is a great place for healthy food especially the smoothies and good coffee you know though I really didn't like the oatmeal as I had ordered it, I would definitely come back.
THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL! I just stopped in for a quick bite and was completely blown away. I enjoyed the Ayurvedic Lentil Bowl (under Buddha Bowls) and it was life changing! That dish literally nourished my soul. It was the perfect combination of textures and flavors that left me feeling full and satisfied. I also sipped on their delectable version of “bulletproof” coffee which has grass-fed butter, coconut oil, raw cacao, dates, Himalayan pink sea salt and cinnamon aka ALL THE GOOD STUFF! Not only are the food and beverage options amazing the atmosphere is clean, quaint, cozy and airy. The staff is friendly and helpful especially for the person unfamiliar with vegan eating. They offer free WIFI and have a bar area, tables and 2 arm chairs. When the weather gets nice there is outdoor seating as well. Stop on in and give it a try, I promise you’ll be back for more!
Food & Drink Quality:
Fresh, healthy, and great combinations of drinks accompanied by lovely & healthy food options (except the "sweet treats" section which from my standards doesn't belong to this healthy menu).
Pricing:
I saw couple of reviews that items are over priced, but as a person who is in the food business I can say prices are NOT expensive! I look at the price in this way that by supporting this business I'm supporting healthy food/local food supply which is their mission. They offer 1$ off for refill which is indeed the price of the glass bottle meaning they don't want to over charge you. Similar juice products in different size at Wegmans are almost the same price! ( I won't be surprised if I know greenmouth is their supplier because of the high quality). That being said, I think Greenmouth still should look for different options in Packaging/supply & negotiate to reduce the prices to make it affordable for more people.
Service:
Very friendly and polite. Could not be better! 😃
Location/Parking:
Very lovely place in downtown Allentown and almost no parking problems!
I loved everything about this place. I was introduced to fresh pressed juices and I love them, the counter staff was friendly and informative. I also tried a date ball which was delicious! The cookie dough ball was not for me, but we all have different preferences in food. I did find parking to be a bit difficult.
Fresh and healthy food and drinks . Staff are super friendly and drinks are refreshing.
This is a must visit for vegans. They have all sorts of healthy (and more decadent) options: smoothies, salads, sandwiches, etc. I tried the local kombucha which was great and took a few salads to go. Even though they were so close to closing when we arrived, the staff was nice enough to accommodate our large order. We appreciated this so much since we traveled from afar. If you're in search of good vegan options in the area, this is one of the best.
