Review Bay Leaf Restaurant - Allentown

Food was different and fresh. We started off with 3 appetizers and 1 seafood bisque. Our favorite was the egg roll it had chicken, crab and shrimp. Ravioli had a nice fried crisp with carmelized onions blended well together. Goat cheese roll had 3 amazing textures, from hard, soft and watery. Baramundi fish was the special. Nice and soft and flaky white fish with a nice sesame crust. Chicken and crab was my personal favorite. Chicken wasn't all breading nice soft crust. Tender chicken the pine nuts was a great touch to the cheese and crab. The blood orange drink was so smooth I could of had plenty. Service was friendly and quick.

Nice quiet restaurant. Place settings are very formal but atmosphere is oddly casual. Menu is a bit difficult to read because it's not broken up into seafood, chicken, beef. It's just all listed together. The food isn't amazing, but it's not bad. Service was polite, staff is small.

We have been here several times throughout the years and it is consistently excellent! Great menu choices, great food, great service. Good mixed drinks. I have been on what seems like a never ending quest to find the perfect steak; a steak so cooked to perfection that it doesn't need a single thing added to make it taste as it should.

Great Greek restaurant!! Very nice, relaxing atmosphere, friendly and nice servers too. The meal was delicious, very quick service too!! Great choice in Allentown!! Parking on the back and side of restaurant too. Easy to get to, close to route 222!! Don't miss it!The Moussaka was delicious as were the lemon potatoes . The whole menu was mouth watering!!

Food is phenomenal, ambiance is fantastic! They have a parking lot in the back. The people leaving 2-1 stars are people who don’t realize that upper class restaurants, by definition, means waiting for expensive food that is served in proper portions. I bet they think Olive Garden is fancy. This food is art, and art takes time. BUT it’s worth every penny!!!!

My wife and I visited this place as we wanted to try something new. This was our fist visit and probably the last. The food was good, but it is definitely is not worth the money. I paid 25 dollars for a little piece of fish, and few veggies on the plate, my wife got the 28 dollar steak that came with identical veggies and we also got a little plate of rice to share. The staff was friendly but I had to call them as nobody would show any interest, not once did they stop to ask if we needed anything or how our food was. We wanted to get more drinks but nobody offered after our glasses were empty most evening, I wanted to get desert at the end but by the time they came I was just ready for a check, and it was a slow night. Most of the time they spent in the back ding some type of paper work. What killed the whole experience for me was the fact that they left the kitchen door open and I saw them taking someones entree out of a microwave. I could live with spending more money for a small dinner but I at least would expect it to be made fresh not in a microwave.

I've been there twice (kicking myself for not knowing this place existed sooner!) in the past month, and the food has been absolutely amazing. Service is also great. There's only one small question I have: what's up with the rice? The rice served with the dishes reminds me of something like boil-in-bag Uncle Ben's rice; it's not at all something that should be served with delicious Thai dishes.

The absolute best food in the Lehigh valley We've been going there for at least 15 yrs and never had a bad or even an ok meal, always the best food and wait staff

We enjoyed a lovely meal tonight during restaurant week. It was nice to be able to take our almost 3 year old. The waiter was awesome and played along with him. The food was just amazing! I had the chicken with the raspberry sauce and my husband had the salmon. Of course our son was raving about the rice and carrots he got to eat! And dessert was just enough for a sweet treat at the end of a delicious meal.

Simply amazing! Music is perfect. Service is great. Food is the best I've ever tasted. Drinks were phenomenal. Price isn't bad for the quality. This is a place where you take your time and enjoy the whole experience. If you're in a rush you should dine elsewhere but if you want a great, relaxing, intimate dinner with family or friends I highly recommend it.

Delicious New Years Eve dinner, we have never been disappointed here. Employees were very busy, but still made sure we were well taken care of.

Just had my experience eating at the Bay Leaf restaurant, and it was fantastic. The menu has loads of choices, and looking forward to trying as many items as possible in the near future.

We had a 8:30 reservation, but we were not seated until 9. I ordered the New York strip expecting a delicious steak, but I was wrong. It was just okay. We will not return.
