Review Major Tomato - Allen Park

Just traveling through town and stopped for some pizza. The small was perfect for two people, we ordered the Meatsiah (pepperoni, bacon, ham, Italian sausage, and ground bison); it was great. The staff was nice. The place was clean. I'd reccomend stopping in.

Pizza fun? Major tomato has a lot of good things going for it. Strong principles, not a chain pizza place, and unique Pizza combinations. After noticing so many people go in and out of this place and reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. We selected a large one side little mac and the other side vampire slayer, yes you can get a half of one pie and the other half another. The Little Mac is a play on McDonald's Big Mac, it was very unique and tasty. The vampire Slayer had steak, roasted garlic among other things and a balsamic drizzle, it was good not great. Was told it would take 30 minutes, but ended up taking an hour. When we got home our pizza was cold. We warmed it up in the microwave. I debated whether to call, I hate complaining especially with Mom and Pop places. But knowing I was going to review I thought I better give them a chance, and I'm happy I did. I spoke with one of the owners, a very nice person, he told me the Little Mac very popular that evening, that they ran out of ingredients. He was very apologetic and eager to make it right. I highly recommend you give major tomato a try, these people care about the pizzas they produce, they use quality products and try to make junk food healthy. I will give an update after I get my second pizza.

STOP!!! don't order here trust me. Highly overrated... would give the pizza 2 out of 10 it was lacking cheese toppings and overall flavor.

Pizza was really good.. waitress had an attitude.. gave my friends and I pizza with no plates.. no water.. not a big deal right so I politely asked for them and she made a super nasty face and smacked her lips as she walked away to grab them as if it was our fault.. Reply: thank you for the reply.. I will definitely come again soon and will change my review based on my experience Reply: just left and the lady in the front was very polite and friendly and even let us dine in after hours.. pizza was amazing! Service was amazing!

I have celiac, and the pizza was great, and the gluten free options are for all the pizzas, it was safe and they were very friendly, I was impressed. Oh and it was the vampire killer pizza I got 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

Great flat bread pizza!! The "Major Tomato" with chicken is my favorite! Ive tried several of the others.... all very Tasty!! They will also do half and half if you want one pizza, but want to try 2 different ones. Their Mediterranean Salad is also very good! The place is Very clean and has a nice Atmosphere... One of my favorite pizza places!

Best pizza! I love the Arugula Mania, I substitute the Prosciutto with Mushrooms. The crust is crunchy, tastes like a French baguette, toppings are fresh, tasty and distributed evenly across. Staff is friendly and well trained.

Amazing thin crust pizza. Ingredients tasted so fresh and flavorful (we ordered the Major Tomato). Pizza came to us piping hot (like...melt your face off hot) from friendly staff. The crust was the perfect amount of crisp as well as doughy. Will definitely be back again soon!

One of the best pies in the downriver area. Thin to win! Unlike other pizza places, you can tell they know how to properly apply veggies to it, delayed into the cooking process so they are cooked but still fresh. The pizza I ordered was perfectly sliced and was very "neat" in the way it was made. They did not overdo the pizza with cheese, which is a good thing. The toppings tasted super fresh and the crust was good. The pizza lacked a tiny bit of taste but tasted like I was eating fresh food professionally made. The breadsticks were good along with the marinara sauce.

Fantastic, tasty little pizza joint! And healthy too! We ordered the appetizer tomtatoes (you read that right), a cheese pizza, an Aloha pizza, and a veggie burger with tons of fixins. And Virgil's root beer of course! The pizza crust was FANTASTIC! Very impressive flavor and texture, and cooked to perfection. Sauce was awesome, cheese was delicious, toppings on the Aloha were perfect. Veggie burger: 2 thumbs up! It's so impressive your ingredients are not only fresh but also local or organic, and corn syrup is seriously avoided -- even in the BBQ sauce. Next time I look forward to trying their locally-farmed and supplied grass-fed burger. The inside is small, cozy, well decorated and well-equipped. The restrooms are neat, decorated, very clean -- and they even smelled good! Your pricing is more than fair. Given both the quantity AND QUALITY of what we ordered, this place is an amazing value. And it feels to good to know what you're eating and that it's good ingredients! Seriously, I'm not sure why we waited so long to check you guys out, but this little joint is fantastic, and we'll definitely be heading back to Allen Park for some Major Tomato!

We ordered the spinach artichoke pizza and it was fabulous! We also ordered a garden salad - we were disappointed that the lettuce wasn't fresh but from a bag and slightly wilted. The service was great and the place is adorable. Just wish they had fresh salad on the menu as they advertise that you can count on delicious food made a better way and salad from a bag just doesn't cut it. We would go back again however because the pizza was great.

Fresh ingredients! Loved ordering online and having the food delivered. Easy to customize and everything came perfectly how we ordered and promptly. Big thin slices like NYC. Salad was delicious ! And the calzone was the best I’ve had around, fresh ingredients and cooked with care��

Hands down our favorite pizza place. We order from here any time we order pizza and nothing compares. Fast, friendly service, perfectly done pizza, and the best ranch you will ever taste in your life. We've had delivery multiple times and it's always came before the estimated time and fresh. The restaurant itself is clean and an awesome atmosphere for dining in. Just all around, 5 stars.

Even though we accidentally walked in to a private party, the owner asked what we wanted and took the time to make us a pizza anyway. Going above and beyond, when they were closed to the public, to make sure we didn't leave empty handed tells you what an awesome place this is. And, the pizza was incredible. Highly recommended!

Very fresh and delicious dinner! Tried the gluten free ABLT pizza, supreme pizza, and house salad! The only thing that would have made the ABLT better would be a little more bacon! Will be ordering again!
