Quality of sandwiches are terrible for $11.. Al Capone! Hardly any lettuce, no Pickle and fries are undercooked and soggy! Very disappointed!!! Used to be my favorite place!

I have been going to this same sub shop ever since I was a kid!! The subs are still the best subs around. The fries are one of my favorites!!! Hands down the best seasoning and best fries ever. The people that work there are always awesome. Very respectful even during these difficult Covid times.I love how the owner always wears a mask .She is awesome

Best subs in Chicago area. Fries are like crack. Spicy chili rub is the best sub I’ve had in my life and I am not really a pork fan. I get mad when I pass on Monday’s and they aren’t open. Gonna miss this place when I move

First time customer, the pesto chicken sub was delicious with nice big chuncks of chicken plenty of pesto cheese and fresh tomatoes! Shout out to the young woman working at that cash register. When faced with an extremely rude customer, who started yelling at her and acting ridiculously because she asked for a name for the order. she stayed calm and pleasant! Great job!

Heard nothing but praises for Algonquin Sub shop so I had a taste and thought we'd give it a try. Was kinda busy (good thing). Girl who took order, polite, friendly. But after order received, got home to discover potato salad order not present. Wifes sandwich missing vinaigrette. Too far to go back, but when wife's not happy....... Hoping sandwiches are good.

The sandwiches are a little underwhelming. I ordered the #1. It had a different cheese on it then advertised, so I peeled that off. I had requested tomato’s, pickles and onions, all of those were missing. The pepperchini, were way too hot!! I don’t think there’s was any Italian vinegrgette on it either. I also thought the bread was like what you’d buy in a plastic bag at Jewels deli. Nothing special at all! I did love the soups though! I ordered 2 different ones, and both were excellent!

No matter what sandwich you order, it will be the best sandwich you have ever eaten. Algonquin Sub Shop is the only place I will get in my car to go pick up food no matter what the weather is. It is a long standing business in our neighborhood, and we are glad it is so close.

Stopped by today, first time customers. Super busy, line out the door. Small shop, just a few tables, but we ordered and ate in our truck. With a line out the door, we did not care! Great subs, good soup, and the chili was spicy! The way we like it! The only thing we don't like is the fact that it takes us well over an hour to get there, so I guess I'll have to visit Algonquin more often!

Hands-down the best veggie sub I have ever had. Avocado, onion, cucumber, tomato, sprouts, mayo and cheese make it so filling, you don't even miss the meat. Fries are equally impressive. Saw the place named on Algonquin's top restaurants and figured we would give it a try. Was not disappointed!

Awesome sandwiches!! I usually just opt for boring ham and cheese.. but I had a hard time picking which one to get here! So many good ones to choose from! I finally went with the #21, The European... It was delicious! THEIR FRIES ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!
