Rachel's Hi-way Cafe - Alexandria - Photo album

Stopped in on a Monday around 3:30 for to go . Was the only one there. Ordered the Beef Manhattan with a side salad. Came super fast was good and hot. For $8 good portion and well worth the money.
Biscuits were hard and cold and the gravy was tasteless and cold as well. The fried potatoes weren't cooked all as some thicker pieces were hard still. I hadn't been there in years and won't be returning.
With no dining allowed in restaurants in Michigan, we wanted to go out to eat. It happens that we know some people in Alexandria, so we drove all the way from Lansing for a good, hot dine-in meal. Rachel’s did not disappoint!! The atmosphere was homey and friendly, they made us feel like family! O
I loved the home town feel here. Delicious home made food. The onion rings are very thin and fell apart easily, that was the only thing I didnt care for. Prices were decent. Definitely give the desserts a try!
The food was great, lots of homemade desserts. The service in all honesty was less than exemplary, but they did get the food out quickly.
I like to stop in here for breakfast. The coffee is good and the pecan pancake is awesome. Its quiet and personal. Their restrooms are always very clean .
It was good. Fried chicken homemade very tasty. Deserts delicious.service very friendly.
This place is so good! Great service and it's very reasonably priced!
