Hair in hamburger. Never going back again. Based on questionable service experience it seemed deliberate. I’ll find a new spot during my trips to Alex moving forward without hair as a topping.

Darrel's has some GOOD FRIED CHICKEN! The shrimp poboy was tasty and well executed, but just not what I am used to in Lafayette.
She really liked the BLT. OH YEAH, the shakes are awesome! I had a peanut butter and chocolate one, and enjoyed every sip! French fries were pretty darn good also!
Will be repeat customers.
They need to increase the tonnage of their to a/c, it can't keep up with the temps since g global warming started kicking out butts!

Polite workers, fresh food, and quantity for price is amazing during these times during EVERY visit no matter the day or time. A MUST to visit! If its wrong, they will correct it with a smile and apology.
During the previous flooding, they were one of few restaurants to remain open to serve the community. Cuddos for that as well! Try the DM burger 🍔, the tenders ( Darrells sauce), or the catfish with seasoned fries 🍟!

Their fried chicken is the biggest and best in town. Their nuggets and strips are made fresh in-house. A mom and pop chicken joint between raising canes and chick filet, and across from Popeyes. They are definitely best of the best and worth a try.

Those double meat hamburgers are very tasty and always fresh. My kids love their chicken nuggets b/c they are made out of real chicken. If you want fresh and homemade this is your place❤

Darrell’s is a great local restaurant with small selection of good food. My favorite is the DM Cheeseburger with seasoned fries and drink. Please add Darrell sauce to dip everything.

We ordered burgers, fries and chicken livers. If you like those you'll love it here. Livers were cooked so tender, just right. Burgers were good burgers and the fries were great.

A local favorite for fried chicken, burgers, and other great traditional American food. I've never met anyone that doesn't enjoy Darrell's. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Friendly staff and convenient locations make for a pleasurable experience every time.
