This Chipotle didn't have guacamole, or take NFC payments. I get that supply chain issues can effect the ingredients shortage, but there needs to be a sign that says what this restaurant is taking and not taking, has in stock or doesn't have in stock before beginning an order. No excuse for not having NFC payments.

The employees here are very rude. It was our first time to eat here. The store at 5955 Kingstown T.C. #160 Alexandria, VA 22315. My mother in law ordered her food and asked for the salsa that is the mildest on the side…. They gave her the most spicy kind. She put a little on her food, but it was all to spicy so she couldn’t eat it at all. She went back up to see if they would remake it since that is their mistake. They would not remake it and told her she had to go to the end of the line which was backed up to the door. They would not fix it at all and made it VERY clear to us that THEY DO NOT MAKE MISTAKES!!! I would like to know how to be so perfect that you never make a single mistake! She even offered to pay for a new one, and they said she had to go to the end of the line! Customer services should be your number one priority! With out customers you wouldn’t have a business period! If I could leave 0 stars or even negative stars I would! All they had to do is remake it and everything could have been just fine! But I guess taking 2 minutes to make it was to much trouble! It took them longer to argue with us then it would have been to just fix their mistake! It was our first time to eat there and it will be our last and we were a group of 8!

Admittedly, I eat at Chipotle 2-3x a week. The fresh, healthy, high protein ingredients make Chipotle a great choice for a quick and tasty post-workout meal. Unfortunately, this location doesn't meet the bar Chipotle has set for its customers. I'm not sure when things changed. My workplace is close to this location so prior to COVID, I often ordered from this location. While I worked from home, I ate at the Burke and Woodbridge location, both are consistent with the Chipotle brand I've grown to love. Now, I'm back in the office after two years, and the Kingstowne location is not the same. The staff, mostly the women there, aren't very hospitable. They are impatient and lack customer service skills. I think training in this particular area would be beneficial. And, as crazy as this sounds coming from someone like me who adds salt to my food before I even try it, THE FOOD IS EXTREMELY SALTY. Someone in the kitchen has a very heavy hand. Two weeks ago, I couldn't finish my burrito after TWO bites. I was literally choking on salt. The salt was so overpowering, I couldn't even taste the food. I didn't complain, though. I chalked it up as a bad day in kitchen. But again today, the food is so salty that I can't enjoy my meal. I'm on the fence about returning my food but twice in a row, I paid for a meal I cannot eat. Honestly, I'm not one for negative reviews. If I really don't like a place or service, I'd rather just not return. However, my hope is that management will see this and work towards correcting these issues. Either way, I'm still a Chipotle fan, just not this particular location.

Employees need training on how to deal with customers. This is the worst location I have been too. I went in today half of the stuff was all done. I asked for 4 veggie bowls, the crew member failed to mention that they were all out after putting in the rice when I saw they were empty. I told them to cancel the order, they told me they started i will have to pay or they will take action. I paid $38 and for a less then half full bowl rice and beans with salad and hot sauce. They didn't have cheese, corn, sour cream, mild sauce, or other topping. This is not how business is ran. Very disappointed and will never return.

The service is extremely slow and the burrito was made well. I did an online order. My items were supposed to be ready for pick up at 6:10pm. However, they were not ready until 6:30pm. The fajitas consist of onions and bell peppers. Both the onions and bell peppers were raw and crunchy. The meat portion was extremely scant. I received 3 small lumps of meat in my entire burrito. My spouse's burrito also had less than .5 of a normal serving of meat. I think that the poor quality products are the result of poor training and reflects that management needs to do more.

Staff is very unfriendly/hostile. Although close to me, I will be going to other locations from now on. My first run in was when I attempted to get catered food for a party. When I got the order home, I realized I only got 1/3 of it. I called the restaurant, the manager kept insisting that I did not order the other items, even though I re-iterated that I had a receipt that said otherwise. Eventually, after about 5 minutes of back and forth, I get an "oh here it is". I sent my friend to pick up the additional items, since I was fuming at this point. Yesterday, I ordered pickup. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:50pm. I arrived several minutes after this -- the store does not use the self-serve pickup shelves, so you have to ask for it at the register. Anyway there was a line of several people -- the checker was very unfriendly. I told him my name several times and even spelled it out. Eventually, he gave me an order -- the name wasn't even close. I told him my name again, he then threatened not to help me because I yelled my name. Finally, about 8:15, he checked again -- my order was there the whole time -- it was missing the large chips though. Anyway, the fact that they do not use the self-service shelves and the staff is very unfriendly, I will not be going to this restaurant again. Hopefully one of the others in the area will be better.

I had to wait 10-15 minutes for the cashier to issue the person in front of me a refund for mistakenly adding part of my meal to her bill. The cashier had to get a manager from the back to assist and they both had horrible hostile attitudes towards the person that he made the mistake with. The same mistake almost happened to me since the staff started placing the wrong order in my bag too. I tried to stop her from the mistake but she angrily balked that it was not my order. Another customer corrected her and she listened since he was Hispanic and was able to speak her language. This place has very rude, disrespectful, employees and management. It seems they're only nice to Hispanic customers and I'm not citing racism but it just seemed that way from my observation of this ordeal. Please train your employees to pay attention with keeping everyone's order organized and show some respect for all paying customers regardless of race and ethnicity.

I am writing this review due to the horrible experience I encountered at the Kingstowne chipotle. Normally I always have a great experience but this time I did not which is why i am writing this review. I came with my sister because we were craving chipotle around 9 before closing time. We thought they still have an hour before closing. When we came in, a young lady that had a butterfly tattoo on the front of her neck was cleaning the glass in front of the food. She did not acknowledge us while we stood there for 5 minutes until her coworker came out and he did not say anything to us either. He asked what we wanted and proceeded to serve our food. Meanwhile the food was still pushed back and the girl was still cleaning the glass windows(where the food should be) now there was a line behind us. She was taking her sweet time and her and the one that was serving us were just pretty much having their own side conversation about him leaving early, again while not acknowledging the customers.Then after, she was serving us, she gave my sister and I an attitude complaining to her coworker about serving the customers. Which I did not take likely. The guy checking us out with glasses also not having a care in the world, asked “anything else?” I said a fountain drink and he slammed down the cup in which did not land right and ended up falling to the floor. Much to say, I had the worst experience there. If they can next time actually clean I don’t know 15 minutes before closing time, then there wouldn’t be this bad review on those three employees . Also if they can acknowledge customers when they come in and leave they would have more customers coming back. They should hire people that actually want to work and not people who want to mess around. It’s a business, they should act like it.
