Vocelli Pizza

This is the first time I ordered from this Vocelli Pizza. Ordered via Grubhub. Ordered a Vegilicious Stromboli (in other words a vegetarian Stromboli) and a Vegetarian Sub. It was delivered it within a reasonable time and both dishes were hot and very tasty. Would have liked a little more Marinara sauce but what can you do? Five out of five. Update - Ordered a Vegetarian sub, chocolate cake, and a Mug Root Beer via Grubhub. This time the ETA was over an hour and it took over an hour. While I didn't really like waiting that long the problem is with the food. The sub was good, the chocolate cake was one of those lame no-bake ones AND it was sliced REAL thin, and my Root Beer turned into a Dr. Pepper on the way over. I mean, if you are serving me sub-standard chocolate cake at least make it a big slice. So...now they are down to three stars and I doubt I will order from this location again.

I love Vocelli's pizza; however, the quality of this location was vastly different from the Ft Belvoir restaurant. My pizza was over cooked and dry. It could have used more pizza sauce for sure. I still like Vocelli but wont return to this location. This is very unfortunate because this location is much closer to me.

Hard to truly rate the food because I tried to order a pizza online for pickup and the price for the online special (1 Medium Pizza) was only $6.50. The online system has a $10 minimum even for pickup so it wouldn't process it. When I called, the gentleman was nice, but said I had to order at least $10 online. When I asked about the special, he said it was only available online and not by phone. What restaurant tells a customer who is going to come into the place to pick up their food that they have to order a minimum of $10 just to get an order???? Too bad, I was looking forward to trying them, but likely will never go back.

Ok. So, I gave a 5 star review because this place doesn't deserve a 3.4. My pizza was great! I ordered the smallest spinach artichoke and I really didn't have any complaints. The only complaint that I would've had would be that I had to get the cooks attention to pay, I waited about 4 minutes but when I yelled back he was very polite and made sure I got my order. This place is next to a laundromat and is not in the hustle and bustle but I think they honestly deserve at least a little above a 4 considering the quality and price of the pizza.

The pizza that I ordered from this place for delivery was nothing similar to what I got. Pizza was cold and delivered 30 minutes later. Then I called to the Vocelli Pizza and the person on the phone (a man with strong Indian accent)was utterly disgraceful. He denied even a possibility that it was their mistake and trying to blame everything on the delivery guy, he did not let me speak. He used profanity number of times and pretend to be a manager of the Vocelli Pizza after saying that he was not a manager in the beginning of the phone conversation. This employee must be fired.
