First time eating here. I got the Chicken Philly with cheese. It was good, not the best I've ever had but good. The Soda fountain machine is out of order. The shelves are pretty empty as far as other products. Not bad for a quick lunch.

Great little gem. Inexpensive, I showed up at 9am and what I imagine are the regulars (about 5-6 people) also timed it to show up the minute it opened. It’s a nice family owned business who I’ll happily support with my future business.

Fine in a pinch. I was across the street at a conference without many gluten free breakfast options. I popped in here to see my options and ended up ordering a Western Omelette. The potatoes were soggy and had weird seasoning, the omelette itself was filled with what I’m guessing are frozen veggies, but it ended the grumbling in my belly so it got the job done.
Biggest annoyance was the lack of air circulation in the cafe. Smelling like the oil my breakfast was cooked in all day isn’t exactly ideal.

This place is a hidden gem hole in the wall in the Carlyle neighborhood. Cafe Gallery is no frills and a bit rough around the edge but makes great sandwiches. The daily special is a safe bet as is the Alexandria Dream and the Royal Club. Great lunch spot by the USPTO.

Stay Away!!! Customer service is non existent. I ordered a western omelette which comes with onions, green peppers, ham, tomatoes and mushrooms. What i got was an onion omelette. An omelette filled with onions and a hint of the other ingredients.The terrible omelette wasn't the deal breaker though, it was their unwilling to correct the problem. The attitude was that this is what i ordered and that's that. Her only resolution was to scrap off some of the onions (which ended up being about a cup) I took my phone out and recorded most of the incident. Ill be posting it under the name " Cafe gallery Alexandria onion omelette."
