Gold Star Chili

Good chain restaurant and bar with lots of TVs up. Large outdoor patio that has lots of seating. High tops and low tops. They often have decent live entertainment on the patio when the weather is nice. The food is a decent consistency and is well prepared. The service could be a lot better, and that's the reason for 4 stars.

Management needs to engage. Food was great but it shouldn't take1 hour and 10 minutes for a burger and 12 wings. No refills on drinks since the waiter disappeared. Didn't get the order correct as one item didn't come out. Someone needs to ensure customers are being taken care of properly. It wasn't just us, the poor ladies with an infant and toddler next to us were there longer and just as frustrated. I mentioned something to the hostess on the way out and just know the message won't get passed along.

Ashley the manager deserves a RAISE TODAY. She was awesome. We were seated & were sitting for about 5-7 minutes no one approached us she came over and took over. She staff was just nowhere to be found my husband and I watched her go from indoor to outdoors helping guest. She was great & well worth our first visit & we will be back just because of her. Great job Ashley. Everywhere we went We never gave a $20 tip but she damn sure was worth it.

Let me start by saying Glory Days has potential. A friend spoke highly of them so I tried it out. We were quickly seated, took the waitress 20 mim to come take our order, then another 20 min for our drinks to come. We placed drink orders and appetizer orders at the same time. Our appetizers took another 20 min followed by a 30 min wait for food. The waitress never came back to check on us we had to get our own silverware from the bar due to no hostess at the stand.

I have been to this place a few times over the last couple years, and don't really have any major complaints. More recently it has felt like they're either understaffed or mismanaged. The staff seemed a little lost/confused about who was taking what table, forgetting orders, not knowing info about items on the menu or even something like their hours of operation. These sort of things are not a big deal if you just want to grab a beer at the bar, but it just feels like the quality of service has diminished lately. I'll still likely be back, I just temper my expectations a bit.

Food was AMAZING! The service was quick and our waitress was exemplary. The fries are so crispy and salted just right. My Philly was soft and the meat was tender. The ribs were cooked to perfection, as they fell right off the bone. Please come here if you want great food. I will most definitely return when I'm in the area!
