Starbucks

Consistently, this is my favorite Starbucks in Alexandria. The staff could not be friendlier, and every order I have ever gotten from here has always been correct! Additionally they are incredibly welcoming to guests coming in to pick up their coffee with their dogs in tow, and my own pooch has gotten more than one “pup-cup” from this Starbucks.

I had an unpleasant experience at this Starbucks. Several reasons: attendant got impatient and started raising her voice at the gentleman ahead of me, whose card didn't go through, as it later came to light due to the store's system being down; second - I asked for an extra shot of espresso, got charged $1, didn't get what I ordered because the attendant was distracted and didn't place my order with the baristas. What a messy place. I understand tourists can be too much, but that's what retail is - customer service! Meaning, getting the order right, and being extra patient with patrons. What a mess. I hope this goes through to the owner of the franchise and they take measures/spend time coaching the staff.

This is literally one of my very Starbucks because it does not have that Starbucks corporate feel. The interior is perfect for Old Town Alexandria. The service is always friendly and efficient no matter how busy they maybe. Seating is limited but there are so many places to walk to or sit to enjoy your beverage of choice.
