Not bad. I had the Loroco, Camaron, and Pescado. The Camaron was outstanding, the other two were oversalted. The chips and salsa were incredible. Next time I will get a platter.

Pupusas!. My sister is married to a Salvadoreno, and that man can make some mean Pupusas. I got to say this restaurant gave him a run for his money, Pupusas de Chicharon con Frijoles and Queso Fresco with the fresh salsa they make in house is of the hook. If you have never eaten a Pupusa I highly recomend it. Its kinda like a Stuffed Soppapilla but with Masa, Trust me there good. Great Orchata to.

Pupuseria Y Restaurante Salvadoreño launched in November, 2005 and within months inspired a “Where’s Waldo” type search for a rumored Salvadoran restaurant, the Duke City’s first. That search was triggered by a reader of the Albuquerque Tribune’s “Food City” column who was desperately craving pupusas. Fortunately for other pupusa fanatics, another reader let everyone know just where the restaurant is. It’s a homey hole-in-the-wall on the corner of Goff and Bridge. In 2010, a second instantiation of the restaurant opened on the corner of San Mateo and Gibson, directly west of the “Chevy on a Stick.”

Amazing food! And friendly staff. This is a small restaurant with limited seating (due to covid) but still was able to have a table for dine in. I had the papusas and Salvadorian tamales and both were phenomenal! Fresh and packed with flavour.

This is my go to place! I love their pupusas and their tilapia plate. The red cabbage is so good I would recommend anyone who's looking for something new to come and enjoy this restaurant. The service is also really good very polite.

Pupuseria Y Restaurant Salvadoreño serves up great tasting pupusas with a smile. While all of their selection is delicious and affordable, their agua de tamarindo, pupusa de salami, and tamal de elote (made with sweet corn) makes this place well worth the stop on your way to work, school, or wherever you have planned next in Albuquerque.

The pupusas were great. The nopalito one was my favorite. I also love when the staff talks to you in Spanish. I speak Spanish but I am a white guy so usually get English No worries if don't speak Spanish they speak English too.

Worth the trip if you are driving by, service is friendly and welcoming. They don't have a menu posted online so you'll have to go on your own culinary adventure in here; I wanted a modified version of one of their plates and they were happy to oblige. Quality is slightly below that of El Papaturro, but it is still very good Salvadoran food!

BEST PUPUSAS IN ABQ very stuffed they don’t hold back in filling them. I got the revueltas and loroco with cheese. As a picky Salvadoran myself I give a 11/10

Authentic Salvadorean food. Authentic Salvadorean Horchata, different than Mexican horchata but good in its own way. Place looks like a little hole in the wall. Revuelata Pupusas and the Chicharrón Pupusas are good make sure you add the cabbage and the tomato sauce (curtido y salsa de tomate) they give you. Put over the Pupusas (for those who’ve never had them.) Definitely a must try if you’ve never had food from El Salvador 🇸🇻 👍🏽

Sunday favorite thing... Get Pupuas!! Very flavorful not just spicy. Loved that we were able to eat outside with the re- designed patio area. Prices reasonable for food & drinks. You DON'T feel greasy or bad fast food; here the feeling is good and full with real, healthy ingredients. 5 Stars for sure.
