Was in town for one night and wanted to try an authentic local Mexican restaurant, this did not disappoint. Food was great and large portions. I was so happy not to have to deal with crowds or waiting in line since the balloon festival was that following day.
Continuing my quest to hit every small Mexican and New Mexican joint in ABQ, I visited Los Felix on a quiet Friday afternoon. It's a sizeable place but was mostly empty at this time of day.

This is the go-to place if you want some delicious food and friendly service. I think that more people should come to this restaurant because it seems like there is no better place to get really good Mexican food in the area. Everything from the salsa and ceviche that are brought out when you sitdow

Incredible food and service! Very authentic and the wait was very low. Parking was easy and I'm very glad I visited this restaurant! They also serve a variety of Mexican sodas including Mexican Coke!
Chicken enchiladas were good. Water was good, but they only gave me one glass of it and never refilled it. The chips were hot AZ and good. The hot sauce was alright.
