The food was amazing, and the owner was fun and friendly. I told my husband we needed to move here so I could eat at her restaurant every day. We are absolutely going to go back for more on our way home.
The red chili sauce, which is inherently an ingredient in all red Chile related here, was the bomb! I got the stuffed sopaipilla carne adobada and it was excellent. Go here!

Went for breakfast. Food wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t great. Owner Cecilia waited on us and she said her chile is always spicy and had them tame it down for us. Was pretty empty on a Thursday morning. Not far from the zoo though!
Amazing food! We went here for breakfast and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed the chicken fried steak (highly recommend), breakfast burrito, and carne adovada breakfast. All were delicious! We will definitely return to try the lunch menu. Hours are different due to covid-19. They are open M

Tasty and inexpensive homemade New Mexican food. Service was really fast. Unfortunately the coffee was almost flavorless.
Cecilia's Cafe is at the top of my list for local Eats in Albuquerque. Their food is always so delicious. Their red and green chile is nice and hot. It's like going to an abuelita's home. I highly recommend trying Cecilia's.
Great food and LOTS of it but it is a bit pricey. I’ve been a couple times and the wait staff varies in attitude. Most of the time it’s not bad but I have had one that it seemed she would have preferred if I would just leave.

New Mexican done right. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Chile is spicy like it should be. So much culture and history. They are being themselves while maintaining the need for speed for busy downtown workers.
