Great place for delicious coffee! The owner is super friendly and courteous. I had a caramel pecan latte that was made perfectly! My son had a decaf caramel latte that he thoroughly enjoyed. Pick up a Groupon and get yourself a treat!

Everytime I come to helix I feel welcomed and comfortable in this homey atmosphere. Today I got a warm blueberry muffin that is to die for, and a smores mocha which not only looks amazing but tastes amazing too! There is a toddler yoga session going on in the next room and other than some super cute howls of joy it's been nice and quiet so that I can work in peace. I've been here for a yoga session in the past, and although im definitely more of a customer for the coffee I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga session as well! Come check it out! If you love coffee, yoga, and/or smoothies you'll love it too!
I wish Durango had a coffee shop like this! Helix would be my go-to spot to work or relax. Lovely, bright, homey space, excellent coffee, friendly, knowledgeable owner. I will definitely be back next time I am in Albuquerque.
Absolutely amazing place. This local shop offers amazing coffee. My wife and I were blown away with how good our drinks were. The owner was extremely friendly and offered a recommendation for a drink I would have previously not considered. The location is extremely comforting and the fact they have a kid's room makes this a must visit for any parent (My kids enjoyed all of the toys as well). My wife is eager to find time to try the yoga and I can't wait to go back and try more drinks. If your in Nob Hill, stopping here is a no brainier.
It's a nice local ABQ coffee shop as well as a yoga studio. It's a really cool idea! The owners have a wonderful energy and the coffee was really good. I even got a mint taped to my coffee! It's quaint and cozy, I really enjoy the place. They support local art and vendors too. I have yet to go to one of the yoga sessions, but as far as the coffee side of it goes, I had a great experience.
Love the owners here. Great space for kids. I know our 6mo old (now year and a half) went from sitting, crawling, walking etc. Here... He and his future siblings will grow up knowing this place and doing yoga with his parents here. Oh yeah, and they have awesome wacky coffee flavors you'll not see anywhere else in town, and a chill dining area to enjoy as well, separate from the kids area if that's what you're into.
The atmosphere is very homey and nice. The coffee is great and I later tried one of their frozen coffee drinks which was delicious. The locally sourced DARK CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE was amazing! The prices are competitive with any of the region's coffee shops and an in-house refill cost nothing. There is no bike rack but there is a place to lock up your bike in the back. The back patio is beautifully decorated and hardened. I haven't tried the yoga but I assume it's great because the rest of the staff, Desiree and Vince are awesome, competant and friendly.
Such a unique and fun idea for a coffee shop combined with a yoga studio! The coffee is delicious and I love the many unique options with local flavors. The owners are super friendly too. Looking forward to being a regular here for sure!
This is just the perfect, quirky, family-friendly place I've been looking for! I am an avid coffee aficionado and practice yoga at home with my family; this is the best merger of those elements! I only had the chance just recently to pop in with my 6 month old son and best friend, but rest assured I shall be back (with my husband too!). I appreciate the support they provide for local artists, love the wide variety and clever names for different coffee drinks and flavor combinations (with a plethora of "coffee condiments" unlike any place I've ever been), enjoy the intimate yoga studio and coffee seating area, am glad they have a children's play area and a changing table in the restroom, and admire the family friendly and amiable approach of the owners. I look forward to future events hosted here (clothing swaps, mom and baby yoga, etc.) and highly recommend this establishment to others.
