Literally the BEST sandwich place in all of Albuquerque. Gets real busy at lunch time. Well worth the wait. Parking is not easy however. Also have wonderful owners and employee's I always enjoy going there!

Great sandwich shop in downtown. The grilled cheese and soup lunch deal is awesome and even comes with a small cookie, but you can't really go wrong with any of the sandwiches either.

Love their salads. The house made croutons and ranch make it amazing. The service is great too.

I had the Turkey with avocado on a croissant and it was absolutely delicious. Very simple, with fresh vegetables and high quality meat. The people working there were very friendly and you can’t beat the location if you’re stopping by the library. Definitely stop by if you get the chance.

The best dang sandwich I've ever eaten.
Imagine working a hard manual labor job outside in the middle of July. You're sweaty, beaten down by the sun, exhausted from the work you've been doing. Then you go inisde for a break, and take a sip of lemonade. Visualize how refreshing that would feel.
Take that feeling, and that's what the first bite of the Turkey Banh Mi is. Refreshing as frick. That whole dang sandwich was so freakin' good. I couldn't put it down. I was tremendously bummed out when I was finished because I wanted more. 10/10 would recommend this sandwich. I'd eat this literally every freaking day.
God Bless Al's Big Dipper.

My favorite soup and sandwich shop. Great sandwiches and soups and nextdoor to the library. When I visit the library on an in-office day to get a new book, my routine is to get lunch here while I start to read my book. I started eating here in 2019 when I first moved to Albuquerque and started working downtown. I am so glad it didn't go out of business during Covid. I love it! Best sandwiches and soups.
