The French Cuisine is exquisite, elegant and fabulous! The Tarragon Chicken just melts in your mouth and flavorful! French Beouf Bourguignon a' L'orange is delicious and the meat is so tender and rich with fresh orange flavor! The Spinach Salad was flavorful! The French Onion soup was rich in flavor
Wonderful neighborhood French restaurant. Amazing food. Just prefect combination. The chef came out and made sure everything was good. If you want authentic French food you need to try it.
This was a great find off the beaten path. Really tasty food and friendly staff. It was our first time there and we'll definitely be back. My only "complaint" is that the parking lot was very dark at night and made it look like the restaurant wasn't open. I'm not knocking off a star for it, though.
Great food and the chef was so friendly! Really enjoyed our lunch and hope to go back soon!
I read some negative reviews of the restaurant but took a chance and was very pleased. New waitperson but so very friendly and eager to please. Soft warm bread, excellent goat cheese salad and our party of 6 had several difference entrees (fish, etc) and all were excellent. New ownership seems to
The best French food I've ever had! The atmosphere was intimate, with darker lighting. The waiter Fred is very friendly and helpful.. Live piano is wonderful..There were so many good choices on the menu, and not to mention several tantalizing specials as well.. We were impressed.
Talk about a wonderful and authentic classic French lunch experience!!! We travel to France (where a daughter and her family are permanently installed) at least twice a year, spending at least 4-8 weeks each stay. Chez Axel is the perfect reincarnation of a French neighborhood restaurant with its si
An absolute hidden gem. The food was excellent. Bravo to the chef. Loved the escargot. My beef bouraginne amazing.
Good food, nice atmosphere, attentive waitress, and live piano. We had a wonderful meal and very enjoyable evening! Try it! We were very glad we did!
I went to this french restaurant and everytime I was delighted by the savory dishes such as the filet mignon au poivre, the seabass, the salmon white wine flambe ... every dishes were meticously prepared by the Cordon Bleu chef!
The food is superb. It is a very small place. They are waiting for beer and wine license still after over a year. If they could get this I'm sure there would be many more patrons.
Well, I could finally convince my wife to give Chez Axel a try. From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but once you step in WOHOO. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays your dinner experience will be accompanied with live classical piano music. Regarding their food, I can only say that I
This is a sweet little restaurant, quiet with smartly casually elegant decor and ambiance. I had their trout amandine, it was cooked to perfection with the balance of flavors spot on.
Amazing food and good atmosphere. Expensive but worth the price for a special occasion. Service was so-so, but overall an excellent experience.
