Cafe 66 New Mexican Restaurant - Albuquerque - Photo album

Don't know about stranger things, but yes Breaking Bad got me here. That said, this is my kinda place. A little dinner that has survived the interstate taking out Route 66. The reason it is still going is because the service is phenomenal, the food is excellent breakfast fare and the place is invit
Nestled in SW Albuquerque, the Cafe 65 Diner is an absolute gem for those seeking fast, delectable Mexican and American breakfast and lunch options. One of the standout qualities of the Cafe 66 is the generous portion sizes. Whether you have a hearty appetite or are looking to share a meal with a f
Staff is great food is amazing chilie has really amazing flavor wish it was a little hotter I really recommend the cheeseburger add chopped green chilies and upgrade to red chili cheese fries red Chile cheese fries are some of my favorite I love chili cheese fries overall, this place is really good.
The food is excellent, fast and friendly service. They'll be closed Monday November the 7th 2022 for the series Blue Sky to air on site. It's an old place in need of some repairs. Easy access and parking around back.
Don't judge a book by its cover! This place may have wood paneling and decor straight out of Grandma's house, but dang this place is good! This was my first visit and decided to get the cheese enchiladas with red and green (Christmas). I added a few fried eggs on top and holy smokes were they good (
Stopped in to see where Breaking Bad and Stranger Things were filmed at and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! Got breakfast burritos which were on point and the green chile was good! The polish sausage with onions and peppers was also awesome! Great little gem that has a lot of hist
Didn't even care that it is in movies and tv. I love local places and this is as local as you can get. Took mom and dad here for breakfast. Friendly staff, food was MMMMMMMMMMMM. Red Chile was tasty, Green Chile was the bomb! And what a nostalgic place on Route 66. They really have it going good!!!
The food was delicious and hot.. service was excellent and the diner had a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely coming back..
We had such a great time here! Came to see where Stranger Things was filmed but got much more. We ordered our food which was delicious. Our waitress was so nice and gave great service. Would recommend to anyone!
Always good food, good service. Enjoy and support our local small businesses.
First, Stranger Things was filmed here! Even if everything else was terrible, this is reason enough to go! But the food was great - we had chorizo and eggs and eggs over easy and the beef green chile stew. The hash browns and sopapillas that came with our meals were wonderful. The price so reasonab
Awesome place been several times and every time the service is good don't have to wait long and food is excellent love every thing about this place.
love the old school decor and atmosphere. food is good though don't be discouraged by the old furniture, gives a nostalgia look from long ago. old route 66 lives on here♥️
Our server was very nice and caring during our visit. Delicious and original Mexican palates, we will definitely come back again!
Cafe 66 is one of Albuquerque’s best hidden gems, located on Central just east of 98th street. Cheap prices for some amazing food. If you live in Albuquerque and haven’t been here, you are missing out! If you’re lucky you may get a chance to sit in the booth that Breaking Bad was filmed in...
My pilgrimage continues and this place launched me further like a satellite slingshot. Truly a good old good one, the chili rellenos emerged from the authentic AF Americana atmosphere like an armadillo digging my lawn at night: shameless and bold. I’ll be back whenever I can.
Food's amazing here, so are the staff!
