Yo let me tell you wassup. This place is FAN TANGSTIC!! Like for real bomb diggity!! We’re vegetarians visiting from California and Oregon and saw that the reviews online were tip top so we went to eat there.
So many vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. And NO MSG and the food tastes super good AND the serving size is more than adequate. I know I know it’s like too good to be true.
Omgoodness the egg drop soup!! The garlic broccoli yuuuuuummy! The noodle dishes off the chain. The guy at the front super friendly. I’m writing this review while in the restaurant so the excitement is still fresh.
I have no idea if the meat stuff is good.
I ordered all vegetarian food.
The only bad…a couple of annoying flies but hey whudayah gonna do, I got flies in my house too.

First time here. You order food then sit. We got the beef rolls and spring rolls for appetizers. Both were really good. Got a cup of egg drop soup, also really good. Main entrees were general tangs beef with noodles and kung pao chicken. Some of the best I've ever had. Price was reasonable

I didn't like my dish. I can't stand the huge lump of tasteless rice (unsalted and exploding grains) filling up most of the same plate as my dinner. it's an awful presentation. The fried rice was also pretty tasteless. My soda was flat.
YET... everyone else's dish was really good, very tasty. so it's a good thing I was with a big party or I wouldn't have known . Also, the place has an upbeat vibe the employees were helpful, knowledgeable, and cheerful. The owner was attentive and concerned you had a good experience. The menu is interesting and has diverse Asian interpretation.
I'm glad I came in and will be back when in town.

Can't wait for the Montgomery location to open hopefully in 2024...not a lot of activity at that location recently, so I hope things are still on track. However, great eats at the Central location and is a family favorite. Good food, reasonable prices, nice folks. If you haven't tried the , it's worth the trip.

It was our first time here. This was the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. The ginger basil shrimp and Thai basil chicken were so flavorful. You could actually taste the ginger bits and the fragrant basil. I really liked the idea of putting whole garlic in the dishes- it made them so delectable. We can't wait to try other items on the menu.

The best chinese wok style kitchen in Nob Hill! My favorite is the General Tang's Beef, crispy fried beef in sweet/spicy sauce. Great service. You order and pay up front, get a number and sit at a table. Inside and outside sitting areas. There is free parking with ~8ish spots.

Went out for a girls night 💅🏽 Had never been here before 🫣 The pork buns were so great and the atmosphere was chill ✨ We had plenty of time to sit, eat, and catch up!! Would definitely go again for a chill meal 🍛🍲🥟🥠

Best food I've had in a long time, the vegan dumplings had a crispy yet soft texture. I loved the incorporation of different Asian cuisines across the menu. The tofu was unreal it was very flavorful with a wonderful texture and approximately sautéed.

I will be thinking about those beef rolls for years. I stopped in traveling rt 66 for a bite and got potstickers and beef rolls. The beef rolls were so crispy and flavored. Phenomenal. Decor and service is great as well. Absolutely will return and try more of the menu if in Albuquerque

This place was amazing! Ordered the Mongolian beef with white rice, cashew chicken with brown rice and the calamari appetizer with spicy Mayo. Everything was fresh and super yummy!! Service was fast, staff was friendly. This is an order and pay when you walk in then have a seat restaurant!! Highly recommended!! Can’t wait to try more, will update accordingly!

Had the spicy chicken and upgraded to fried rice. Upon first sight I was disappointed because I thought it came with breaded chicken. In fact, comes with grilled chicken and I had nothing to be disappointed about. This dish is amazing. It is slightly tangy, very flavorful and oh so spicy. I will absolutely be back to try out several other menu items

I’m not sure how the overall review is 4.3 stars because this place is absolutely amazing!! The food is delicious and quality, the price is right and the service was pretty damn good as well…I’ve only lived in Albuquerque for a year and I’ve eaten here at least once a month. Highly recommend!!!!

Fang Tang is an excellent pan Asian fusion restaurant with a heavy Chinese bent. The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is always fast and beyond friendly. They have gluten free and vegetarian options and are always happy to take special orders. I recommend this little bistro for anybody who wants good Asian food and is in a hurry, or even if you're not, it's still one of the best Asian restaurants in town.

great place to order food to go as long as you check it before you leave. however, the service tends to get orders wrong, they don't pay attention to tables, they forget to bring things, tend to not listen to customers, etc etc. but the food is pretty good when the order is put in correctly.

Fan Tang has everything. Great food, service, atmosphere and location. While ART construction is going on, parking in Nob Hill is free. Take advantage of it and try this friendly place. The walnut shrimp is fantastic, and so are so many other entrees on their menu.

Coffee chicken is ammmzzing. Even if you don’t like coffee! We live on the west side and make the extra drive after the west side Chows location closed. Worth it!!! We enjoyed Fang Tang too!

I had the Mongolian Beef, while my brother had the Orange Peel Chicken. We shared a side of pork buns. Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The staff was amazing and the manager was amazing and was always paying attention to the dining room. I plan on coming here much much more!

So this had been my favorite Chinese restaurant since it opened. But over the last 1 1/2 year or so the quality of the food has begun to suffer: over-cooked calamari, they stopped putting ground pork in the Szechuan street noodles and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, particularly the bathrooms, has begun to seriously suffer.
Tonight, on Mother’s Day, I am still waiting for food I ordered 50+ minutes ago. We ordered calamari and only after we’d been waiting for 15 minutes were we told that they didn’t have any. This is the last time we’re eating here, and we had been loyal customers.

I like Fan Tang's food quite a bit, but today ordered Pho. It was good, but I asked my waitperson for a soup spoon for the broth. They brought me a teaspoon instead. I told that person I'd rather have heard, "No, we don't have soup spoons available." rather than get an unacceptable substitute. How a restaurant can have 4 soups daily on the menu and not have soup spoons for patrons makes my mind boggle. And if it is the waitperson not knowing the difference between a teaspoon and a soup spoon, what are they on the floor for in the first place? It was the service/lack of service that won an average rating rather than a better rating.
