Recently visited Bien Shur while visiting family and had an amazing experience dining here. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful. We tried a several dishes. We stared with the Burrata Caprese and Beef Carpaccio. LOVED the Burrata Caprese as it was well balanced with the decadence of the Burrata with the freshness of the tomatoes to the well balanced sherry sauce to tie it all together. For our entrees, we had Tomahawk Steak, Pan Seared Scallops with Lobster Tail. My favorite was the tomahawk steak as it well cooked and seasoned for being such a large cut of meat. The tempura mushrooms with it was nice and light but still had a nice crispiness to it. For dessert, we had the Passion Fruit Coconut Panna Cotta which I was a big fan of! It was a nice light dessert to finish off the night. Overall highly recommend!

Took my wife for our 14th wedding anniversary and was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding experience we had… Chef Dennis has brought his imagination to life on every plate that came out! Creativity and execution come together beautifully here, we both had the prime Iowa filets and the presentation and temperature were perfect, we cannot wait to come back and try everything else on the menu! The staff truly made us feel welcome and ensured we had a memorable evening! Well done all around

Tried this restaurant when at the Sandia Casino and Resort. It is their nicest restaurant and most expensive. It is located on the top floor and has excellent views of the surrounding area. Through huge windows. The restaurant itself is fairly large with a bar and dining area. The menu is small but has a lot of good choices and there is something for everyone. They provided 4 delicious breads with butter, my favorite being the chilli bread. To start,we had the french onion soup and the carpaccio. The onion soup was very sweet and tastt with a lot of onion. It contained 2 pieces of bread which absorbed the soup that was good. They probably could’ve had a bit more cheese in it. The carpaccio thought was so good and very pretty when it came out. Very tasty and even had the salad which was great. I got the filet which was pretty pricey but came with a lot of food and was a uniformly cooked and super tender steak with great flavor. It had a bunch of veggies as well as mashed potatoes which were creamy and good. To end the meal, we didn’t order dessert but were provided 3 freshly made truffles that were all delicious. I really enjoyed the white chocolate berry one. Overall this meal was good for what you pay and all items tasted great. The staff were king and friendly and always around. I highly recommend this place if you are on a nice trip or win it big at the casino downstairs!

The food was amazing and precisely presented... as good as any DC restaurant. We were welcomed by the manager, Kim, so friendly, and she set the tone for our wonderful dining experience. She recommended mountain views...ahhh! Our server, Anthony, ensured our meal was a 10! He was professional and provided excellent suggestions. Steak perfectly cooked...sea bass moist and juicy...highly recommend the Bergamot Bramble... and they have a lovely wine selection. We will absolutely be back for the views, the friendliness of the staff, and the meal experience. We also got to meet the chef, Dennis; and, the director, Mr Hahn, was very informative. The entire staff represented the Sandia Casino and Resort well. Highly recommend... you won't be disappointed! A must dine experience when in ABQ!

All the wait staff were very friendly and helpful, I tried the quail and the filet. They were both DELICIOUS. My favorite of the two was the quail because of its deconstructed nature. You could piece any bit of that dish with any other part and it paired well. I highly recommend dining here!

My boyfriend took me here to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't be happier with our experience! The combination of the view of the Sandias + Chef Dennis's finesse in technique and flavor makes Bien Shur my #1 fine dining spot in all of Albuquerque. We got to try a tomahawk ribeye steak, blue lump crab cakes, and their pan seared scallops. You can taste the ingenuity in every bite! Being able to eat here was one of the highlights of my special day. Needless to say, we will be back!

We ordered the crab cakes and shared the special of the night which included duck breasts and got our own entrees which was the tomahawk steak, sea bass, and scallops and each dish was amazing!!! Our server Anthony was very attentive as well as Chef Dennis who greeted us and the manger Kim, who openly cares about the guests!!!

First time at this restraint. My wife and I went to Sandia Resort to eat at the sports bar. It was closed. So up to fine dining we went. The view to the west looked out at the mesas and to the east, the Sandias. Ambiance appropriate for fine fining. Service (Lisa) was excellent as she knew the right timing of coming by. The chef came out and interacted with guests. He explained his philosophy, much I forget. But he has studied at some fine restaurants. He combines textures and tastes in his dishes. Sweet and bitter in sauces. Crunchy and creamy where you don’t expect it. Menu is the right size for options. I recommend.

This dinner was an excellent fine dining experience. The roasted carrot arugula salad was fabulous and my sea bass was perfectly cooked. Elegant presentation. Our server, Irma was knowledgeable, friendly and excellent. Chef Dennis came by our table for a nice discussion. Truly lovely, enjoyable evening. We live in Las Cruces, and we will make a trip back to Bien Shur! Highly recommend!

I had my rehearsal dinner here. Fifteen people blown away by how absolutely delicious our food was, and the manager, Ms. Nguyen, personally checked on us and wished me well. Seriously one of my best group dining experiences and the view! Whoa!
