Vick's Vittles Country Kitchen - Albuquerque - Photo album

Good food, very nice staff... it's a simple, traditional diner. There was no wait when I was there late morning and ate a terrific Santa Fe pancake.
This is a popular place on the weekend! Waited quite a bit but the food was worth it :) very fulfilling and generous portions. I ordered “The Shotgun” and I really liked the country spuds opposed to the hash browns. Update: went back for the broasted pork chop with eggs and the pigs in a blanket pan
Really good food! Went for breakfast on Sunday and loved the decor and everything this place was about! I got the green Chile gravy and it was so flavorful. I took a cinnamon roll to go and this by far has been the best me and my fiancé have ever had! Definitely will be coming back for more!
Great food and awesome staff!
The menu was huge - fortunately the Blue Bonnet Cakes (blueberry pancakes) were the first item on the first page, making my decision easy. The pancakes were a little firmer around the edges than I expected, but they were very big and soaked up as much butter as you could put on them. The eggs were p
The place was absolutely amazing the staffing was awesome and the food was just incredible highly recommend for some good authentic new Mexican cooking. And the tamale omelet is to die for
A native Nee Mexican, and very choosy on my breakfast, I found a new home for breakfast. Will be back to try lunch and dinner. You definitely need to try it. HUGE menus selection. Customer service from all staff was tremendous as I am a people watcher and I saw pride in their work!! Tamale omelette
Still miss the Sunday Buffet, which disappeared during the pandemic. A couple of menu highlights are the green chili chicken enchiladas and blueberry pancakes. The chicken fried steak is also decent. I do wish when we ordered hash browns extra crispy, they were actually extra crispy.
They get very busy, so be patient. The owner and staff are fabulous. They obviously love making good food for their customers!
By far my favorite restaurant for Breakfast & Lunch items. Sadly they close so early. The above photo is incorrect, Vick's Vittles does not have a serve yourself food bar.
New found favorite. Don't let the location or the exterior fool you, this place is good. Been there for lunch and breakfast and have not been disappointed. Servers are friendly, and service is quick. Red and green chile is very good. A must try with reasonable prices. The roadrunner with their g
Food and service were wonderful. Taco was full of meat. Salsa was delicious. Green chile sauce over pork chops was a great addition.
Food is excellent. Kitchen was having a hard time keeping up so we waited a long time for our food.
My buddy recommended we go eat here and I must say this was some of the best breakfast I've ever had. It was cheap and with huge portions. Also everyone there was so awesome and very attentive. I got "The Shotgunc which was country fried spuds topped with chorizo queso, ham, bacon, sausage, shredded
Hands down my new favorite restaurant for country / New Mexico food! The food is hot and fresh with generous portions. Mr. Vick, the owner is always talking to the customers and making everyone feel welcome and at home! The serving staff, especially Maria!, make the experience extra special! Mar
