Very nice little restaurant. Food was fresh and served hot. Staff was very polite and friendly. Hope I can make it out that way again soon. I had the steak and chorizo fajitas. They were very good, the chorizo had a good flavor to it. Only thing I could say was you'd need a cpl more tortillas. But it was delicious!
Best Mexican food I've had in a long time! Super inviting atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!!
Delicious food, chips and salsa are always on point. Our waitress Sabrina was awesome, highly reccomend the Chicken Fajita Burrito! Yum!
Great food and service. I usually get a burrito with chorizo but switched it up this time with a taco salad with chorizo. It was great of course! Margaritas are good as well. Between the family I think we about everything they have to offer and so far we are still coming back! Literally a “taco” salad lol
Food is always amazing, staff is super nice and the atmosphere is chill.
Always good, food and service. Always try to stop in for a meal when I take a trip back home.
We love this restaurant. Great authentic Mexican.
Food was great and the waiter was excellent. This was my first time there and I will for sure be going back. The waiter worked his tail off. Great service
We've lived in Albion for 2 years now and finally made it to check out this restaurant. Our waitress was so friendly and answered questions about the menu. Our food came promptly and was hot and fresh. I ordered the chimmichanga and oh my goodness was it good. My hubby ordered a "Brandy Alexander" drink and that was delicious. We loved our meal and can't wait to go back again. Highly recommend checking them out!
The first few times I went were fine but then I discovered the Jalisco Special...and OMG, it's seriously amazing!!! Perfectly cooked peppers and onions (I get mine without tomatoes) as well as good sized portions of the grilled chicken, steak and shrimp, on top of rice and all covered in their delicious cheese sauce and served with warm tortillas! I cannot recommend it highly enough! The service was always friendly with the owners/operators and is still friendly with the great waitresses they've hired. They even had my Corona Premier last time I was there but unfortunately it was an ordering/delivery error and won't be a regular thing. Oh well, I can get Premier at about any store but I can only get the Jalisco Special here!!!
Perfect opportunity to take a break from the chain restaurants.
After four-days into our road trip we were completely tired of chain restaurants and looking for a local, family-owned, real food meal. However we were on a tight timeline so it still needed to be not far off I-94, close to fuel, with a place to walk the dog and clean washrooms etc. - La Casa Mexicana was perfect. Don't let the old sign outside turn you off. Inside you’ll find friendly staff, quick service and great food. We'd barely sat down before the chips and salsa arrived. We had the enchilada and taco with beans and rice plus the quesadilla lunch special. Highly recommend getting the quesadilla with chicken, beef and shrimp. It all was delicious but the shrimp was over the top perfectly cooked. The guacamole was fresh and chunky with tomatoes and onions. Delicious!! There was a family of 8 at the next table and the kids were happily eating away. They had something for everyone.
We were in and out in 25 minutes. Will definitely stop there again.
Came here on my lunch break. Wow, what a surprise for this small town! I got the La Casa Burrito and it was heavenly!
Lunch was good. The Chimichanga was tasty and so were the beans. The rice was a little bit dry. One thing I don't understand is the chips and salsa refills are $1. If people eat alone, they get a basket of chips to themselves. If there is a table with 4 people, they still get a basket of chips and pay extra when they finish it??? Free chips and salsa equals better tips for the waitress.
