I’m kinda a loyal fan since they opened few years ago :) They severed through a difficult time period of epidemic, and I’ve been there many time and their staffs are always nice! Their dishes are consistently high qualities, toothpicks lamb, gluten rice balls, spicy chicken, eggplant, and the Chinese pancakes. Those dishes are my favorite ones, I order them every time when I visit there. The attached photo is the spicy Ox Aorta which is really spicy and I loved, and then the house special grilled fish, with large size, many vegetables on the bottom with a whole fish, also some lambs on the top, magic match. A great choice for sharing or family meal. The internal environment most currently, they just update their environment with the new beautiful tables and the chairs. This makes have a better dining experience. Overall, highly recommended who lived in the Bay Area and want get an authentic Chinese Hunan foods!!!

This is one of the best Chinese Restauran in the bay area. We had been to Great China and spent $200-$300 for 4 people. Here you ordered 5 big orders, it costs you only $85! Food is phenomenal! The restaurant is so nice and clean. The service is super fast! We like everything we ordered. I recommend spicy clam and chicken. Hunan Beef is amazing! Food doesn't come with rice so I recommend you order pork fried rice to go with it. (Huge plate that 4 people can share for $12!) The servers told me that staff LOVEs fishes here. So we have to go back. Try to bring a group and share food. It is fun and delicious to share and have a good time together.

One of my favorite Hunan cuisine. Their food is spicy enough and service is friendly and fast. You'd better go with a group of people then you can enjoy more dishes at the same time.

Strong recommend the best of Bay Area restaurants for “Wo Jia Hunan Cuisine”! Looking at the delicious of “Boiled Fish with Chilli”(Live fish yo! Or fish sliced you choose side ). Even the shrimp!!! That was very fresh taste ! oh! I forget the Hunan style lamb BBQ ! That flavor taste like be Arabic or Tukey BBQ Flavors of the Middle East or some where! To be honest! You should come here to trying what a spicy of life style food around with you!

Fantastic food and great service! Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Our favorites were the fried tapioca balls, fried fish and tofu, and green beans. If you enjoy spicy food, you’ll like this place! In terms of Covid, do note that there is no outdoor seating and they were not checking vaccine cards when we went. However, all the waitstaff were wearing masks and most customers had their masks on unless they were eating.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! And I have lived in east coast, mid west and west coast and travelled to >40 countries! No sweet base, just yummy and some really good spicy 🌶 options for spicy food lovers. Not to mention they had multiple meat and seafood options to choose from including lamb and their portions were very generous and shareable. Highly highly recommend this place. Will take as many ppl there as possible- it should be on everyone’s bucket list to have authentic Chinese food! Yum can’t wait to go back. 😋

This place is so so good. The dishes are very tasty and the service is perfect. The five stars are for the best boiled fish with rattan pepper (sliced flounder). A++++ Fried Glutinous Rice Ball. I will always come here. Really good!

Large portions, with two entrees and one cold app being more than enough for two. Dined in, and felt very safe and spaced out, and our temperatures were checked upon entry. Excellent service too--orders taken quickly, food came out promptly, got to enjoy our food and conversation without constant interruptions or feeling like we were being rushed, and enjoyed a friendly conversation with our server while paying the bill and packing our leftovers. So happy we found this understated gem right near the Berkeley/Albany border, and can't wait to go back and try more of their extensive menu!
