Perfect pancakes. Same funky place i remember from childhood.
Welcoming spot for breakfast and lunch. Lovely outdoor patio, food is great with good coffee! Have had a few items on the menu including daily scramble, corned beef hash, fried chicken sandwich and all were tasty. Service can be a bit slow at times but overall it is a great spot to enjoy a meal
We had a lovely breakfast here! The servers were very friendly, the decor was beautiful (and fun!), and the atmosphere welcoming.
The raspberry almond pancakes, which they made into a smiley face for the kid, were delicious and 2 was way more than the kid could eat! The hot chocolate was piled with whipped cream. We had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, which were tasty and filling. The daily special scramble was also good.
The mochas were served in jar style mugs.
We appreciated the outdoor heating in the early morning chill.
The restaurant has a modest exterior which gives no hint of the lovely back garden dining area.
There are quirky hints out front of the creativity at work.
The food was outstanding at breakfast, including wonderfully-prepared dishes (we enjoyed the chilaquiles, farm roasties, special omelette, and the orange zest and poppyseed pancakes). The biscuits and cornbread were superb, and the coffee strong and delicious. Our server was charming and attentive.

Breakfast was delicious and the service was amazing. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. We tried the raspberry and almond pancakes, corned beef hash, huevos rancheros, Mac n cheese, and the corn chowder. Everything was tasty from start to finish. The portion sizes are quite large. Also if you love fresh orange juice, you have to get a glass. Would absolutely eat here again.
Had brunch meeting here in the back patio for the first time. Totally blown away by this oasis in Albany! What an excellent restaurant to dine and meet. Surely come again.
We enjoyed sitting on the back patio. The staff is very attentive and the food was delicious. We look forward to dining there again.
Really enjoyed my meal. All of the food looks good. I really enjoyed the scones, you have to try the mango one and pomegranate.
Divine daily specials, per usual. Today's housemade mango-coconut scone was perfect, as were the orange zest poppyseed pancakes. Patio heaters and a mocha will keep you warm while you dine outdoors even on cold foggy morningd (just be ready to be highly caffeinated).
My girlfriend recommends getting a biscuit with your scramble instead of toast.
