Review The Beanery - Albany

Audrey Hellesto
Every time I come in the staff is extremely friendly, kind, and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I’ve been buying a bag of beans every week for the last year or so. My ONLY frustration lately has been the new packaging of the beans. The opening is so tiny that every time I use the coffee grinder at the shop I lose several ounces of grinds in the process of getting the bag out. The plastic zipper also does not work well when grinds get stuck in it. The great coffee itself is the only reason I keep buying the bags, because otherwise the new packaging would send me elsewhere!

I had a fantastic Mayan Hot Chocolate and Cruffin, both were very good and it was a great place to hang out. The MHC had great flavor and the right amount of Hearn the Cruffin was nice and light flakey with great sweetness!

A good place to stop for coffee and a bite to eat. For some reason I always thought this place was closed when I drove by on I-5. Perhaps a larger open sign is needed?

Super customer service and an excellent suggestion for my hot chocolate

I walked in and looked through the great coffee and beverages menu. I got a friendly greeting, great service and a complicated drink very quickly. I had a nice drink in no time and a great morning with friends.

I go here for a quick bite. I work close by so it's convenient. I like there chorizo breakfast burrito it used to come with chips, it even says it does on the menu. The last several times I got one it didn't. Not sure why the change.. They have good bagels, cruffins, even quiche. If you sign up for special offers you get a 1$ off your next purchase.

Keep in mind this was my very first visit but they have tables marked as taken that are not which is really limiting the seating (beyond the social distancing), the coffee was a quite sweet and my croissant that was heated was still cold in the middle, a good croissant though. I'd be willing to try again, but I'm not optimistic

This is a clean, nice little coffee shop. They don’t have much of a selection in the way of a lunch menu. I found their coffee to be to strong for my taste, so I didn’t finish it.
