Elmer's Restaurant - Albany

I gotta say, this is one of the best family restaurants we've eaten at ever. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and very accommodating. We made a few special requests and she delivered. Also, whoever the chefs are here, they are amazing! That was the best Eggs Benedict we've ever had. Perfectly poached eggs and amazingly crisp bacon. Wow! They, by far, exceeded our expectations. The German pancake was delicious too. Also the Rueban sandwich. Everything was perfect. Thank you.

Was visiting the area cause my company sent myself and some co workers...starting the day with a meal...couldn't have picked a better spot. Staff was very helpful and had us seated in no time..menu in hand..we ordered.. I had some chicken fried steak that came with hashbrowns..eggs..and a buttermilk biscuit..guys got there food and were happy. Food was very good as well as the service..would definitely recommend this place for the weary traveler to grub out and take in a inviting interior. Remember to support your local business they are the backbone of a community.

The clam chowder was yummy, so was the prime rib dip. The servers were extra nice and the staff sounded real happy when interacting with each other, not like were forced to act happy. Tht strawberry lemonade tasted like straight strawberry jam with no lemon. The staff were too nice for me to want to say anything, but avoid the strawberry lemonade and you're in for a treat.

I am in town for the weekend, I ordered an omelet with hash browns and the country biscuit breakfast. The only thing that was not raw was part of the omlet, everything else was completely raw. Doughy biscuit and raw hash browns and bacon. Like I understand that the restaurant was super busy but you shouldn’t push out raw food

OMG! This was the best breakfast I've had in a while dining out. I ordered the chicken fried steak with potato pancakes and as usual, an ice tea. My breakfast was hot, my toast was well buttered, I ordered the potato pancakes well done and they were amazing! Plus, on top of all that goodness, our waitress was outstandingly fabulous!! She got all the orders correct and perfect, but most of all, I got like 4 refills on my tea!!!!! (Usually I get 1) She was amazing!!! I left a good tip but had I had more money to give, this girl would have gotten it for sure. I'll check my receipt tonight and see if her name is on it as our server. I'd love to give her mad props!! Highly recommend Elmer's in Albany.

The place looked really nice and I had a great breakfast there. I had a German pancakes which is very and I mean very popular there, and I can see why. It is so unique yet flavorful. I had the cinnamon apples on the top of the pancake and it was delicious. I would recommend everyone to go to Elmer's!
