Quite possibly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had in my life. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and personable. They made every effort to make sure my date and I were satisfied with our time there. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. I would recommend bringing cash as it is their preference, although you can pay using a credit card for a small percentage fee. I also had a reservation, so can not speak to possible wait times as a walk in. All in all, this was a 10/10 experience and I only wish they were open more days of the week!

We walked in and felt like one of the family. Delicious meal and amazing ambiance. The family history is worth coming in for. The stop is well worth any detour you may take. Thank you Matilda for giving us such a wonderful time and making us one of the family.

I make it a point to drive well into Albany to this restaurant anytime they are open. Very authentic I understand and very good. When you enter, you instantly feel like you are among family. The staff are all friendly and social and care about your experience. They all make you feel at home and proudly share information about all the offerings. I had the buffet as it was quicker and I really didn't know what I wanted to eat. I had a bit of everything and it was all good to great! Love this place, the owners and staff.

We took a very fun cooking class and had a terrific paprikash chicken dinner family style with the rest of the students. What a wonderful experience and amazing way to learn something new. We made Hungarian noodles and crepes and just had a ball!

Oh my goodness. Everything about this place is amazing! Where has it been all my life?!?! Each dish was so delicious there's no way I could pick a favorite. Matilda, our server and also an owner, was so pleasant and described each dish in detail which made us of course want everything. I had never had Hungarian food before, but I can say right now, hands down, it is now one of my absolute favorite genres of food. Do yourself a favor and go!

Absolutely lovely owners ! My fiancé and I called early in the day hoping to get some sweets for our at home valentines dinner and Matilda was happy to open her doors early for us and served us 5 different AMAZING desserts. Hands down the best chocolate cheesecake I have ever had in my life highly recommend. Have been here many times in the current and previous location and never once had a bad experience they serve awesome very authentic food as well!
