Viet Pho

I had the chicken fried rice, and chicken pho. The rice was sticky and soft, amazing taste and you can tell it was made with love and authenticity. The pho was incredible, I’ve never had anything like it. It was my first time having pho and it definitely set the standard for me I will come back here for sure just for the pho. To add to the pho, you get a plate of assortments to add to your pho. The bean sprout added in - it made the pho so much more fresh and just light. The cilantro added a beautiful mint flavor and the jalapeños were very spicy and added a kick. I only added a couple of those lol. My husband got the grilled chicken vermicelli and the Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwhich) which looked amazing as well. I will definitely come back here, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu items and recommendations. Not only that but she was very attentive and polite, easy to talk to. I gave compliments to the owner and told him it was my first time trying pho in general and it blew my mind. Must try here in Albany!!

5/11/22 I am a fan of Pho. I try Pho everywhere I go. I had the beef noodle with steak. This just doesn’t meet any of my expectations. Pho is made from pho cubes. Very weak flavor. Meat was chewy. Noodles were under cooked. No basil leaves. Fried spring rolls were barely warm, and where was the pork and other ingredients? $30.00 for lunch for 2. Pick a favorite hamburger or pizza place. You will be happier!

This place is a wanna be Pho restaurant No basil... Asked for spring rolls and talked about the peanut sauce then got cold fried egg rolls with fish sauce. Soup was tiny. A medium is a small at a good spot. Broth tastes out of the bag or box style. Got intestine instead of rare steak and brisket... Absolute nightmare. And I just paid 18$ for a meal I didn't even eat. So disappointed. Co worker got mango salad and was made with very unrip mango's, was bitter to eat and hard as carrots. His first time at a pho place and this was a massive let down. At least he got to take home his 12$ meal. Oh yeah. No spoon or chop sticks. Just plan metal teaspoon and fork. Absolute nightmare. So o so o sooooooo disappointed.
