Villa Garganos

Friendly staff, with a dim lit setting. It feels like you are sitting outside at sunset in Italy. The food is very filling and the dessert is delicious. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant for an evening in Italy. For my recommendations on what could be done better is the furniture could be updated. The seats felt like they were coming apart and the ceiling could be renovated to help enhance the immersive atmosphere, also the restaurant has not served pizza or wings since covid began. Besides that, this was an excellent night out!

Went with my family and had a great night! Great selection of Italian food. Not that big of a menu but what the menu lacks in quantity, it makes up for quality! Service we received was impressive. Waiter was friendly and personable. We went here because one of their former staff members suggested it to us and we were not disappointed. Okay, I'm a bit disappointed that they said they haven't been serving pizza since the plannedemic but that's minor. They had impressive Italian wine selection and server knows good recommendations. If you're going to get salad, try their in-house blue cheese dressing. Veal piccata was really tender and the Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy but not over-the-top. Ps. We also enjoyed the murals inside the restaurant.

This place is legendary in my family but with the recent reduction in their menu, some things need to change. It's understandable that with reduced staff, some items won't be available. Gargano's should be able to denote that by printing an updated menu. And while the manager who waited on my party was extremely pleasant, a little more communication about beverage options would be helpful in placing an order, again, menus. Some items don't seem to be generous enough portions to be a good value, even with the salads - which are fresh and come with plentiful dressing to their credit. I had the manacotti which were tasty, but scant. I look forward to dining here again when Villa Gargano returns to its former glory.

Understaffed so terrible service. 2 servers for a packed house. Apparently they don't make pizza anymore and the manager is too lazy/incompetent to reprint menus without pizza listed on half. The server was rude about not knowing the menu was inaccurate. The food was terrible! Chicken marsala that tasted like teriyaki chicken! Watery sauce, cold bread and rock hard butter. Pasta didn't hold sauce and was over cooked. Way too over priced for the quality and service. Olive garden makes better food and olive garden is just microwaved frozen meals. The chef should be legit ashamed to let food like that out the kitchen

I took a loved one here for their birthday. I have had great service in the past. However, tonight it was lackluster. The server acted as if he did not want to serve me and people of my kind (African Americans). We were the only African Americans in the restaurant and he acted like serving us was an inconvenience to him. I asked for dessert regarding a birthday for my loved one. He did not ask me what I wanted and brought a dessert with a candle that I did not request. I was charged for this. I do not enjoy spending my money in an establishment that treats you like you shouldn't be there. I will not come back. Also, I'm being gracious with the 2 star rating.

I've traveled most of the states and a fair amount of Europe, including Italy, and I have to say this restaurant has outstanding food. Service may SEEM slow but that's part of the ambiance. The timing allows time for conversation and laughter, if you want food being shoveled at you one course after the other buy a conveyor belt and go to a fast food joint. I saw two reviews in particular that made me laugh and caused an irresistible urge to clown on them. For example, one had the nerve to say small portion sizes. First of all you're a human and not a horse. Their portions are plentiful there buddy. And another called her salad "uninspired." Really? Lmao, calm down there Chef Karen Ramsay. Just reading your review made my drink taste like truffle oil. Friendly, casual, intimate location with well crafted food made from quality ingredients. I was impressed and will definitely be back.
